Brother Of Alleged Trans Murderer Calls Into Podcast, Says Trans People Are Being “Threatened To Extinction”

The brother of an transgender male in police custody for murder called into a popular liberal podcast yesterday to condemn those passing judgement on his sibling, claiming that trans people are being “threatened to extinction by fascists.”

Jon Horwitz, whose sibling is currently in custody for the murder of their father, called into the Majority Report with Sam Seder to express his views on the tragic slaying, which occurred earlier this month.

On June 3, police were called to the upscale Birdneck Point neighborhood in Virginia Beach where they found 64-year-old Dr. Abbey Horwitz suffering from multiple stab wounds. Dr. Horwitz was pronounced dead at the scene, and his son, Michael Aaron Horwitz, was arrested.

Michael, who also goes by the name “Norah,” was booked as a ā€œfemaleā€ by Virginia Beach Police, which used ā€œshe/herā€ pronouns to refer to him in their press release on the murder. He is facing charges ofĀ second-degree murder and stabbing in the commission of a felony.

While calling into the Majority Report, Jon Horwitz had a shaky voice and was clearly emotional through recounting his thoughts.

“My dad was murdered, and the main suspect is my sibling,” he began. “And the reason why I am calling you guys with this absolutely terrible story is because a part of… the fact of the case is that my sibling is trans. So you can probably imagine what has been happening in my life.”

Seder and his co-host Emma Vigeland expressed sympathy and allowed Jon to continue.

“There’s a couple things I want to talk about. One is… obviously, it’s been in the news. And it’s been something to see my extended family and my family react to the hatred you see online,” Jon said, ostensibly going on to thank Seder for “inoculating him” against anti-trans sentiment.

Jon stated that his father, who was a well-respected community dentist, was a loving man who cared deeply for his whole family.

“He tried as best as he could to help someone who clearly struggled in life. My sibling,” Jon said, before going on to condemn those publishing information on his sibling as spreading “hate” towards transgender people.

“To the people that knew [my father], they see that stuff out there and it hits them like it would hit a normie who doesn’t understand the real vileness people — especially trans people — are seeing on a daily basis.”

Jon goes on to make an apparent reference to an article from Fox News on the stabbing, which had labeled “Norah” as having been a trans activist.

“In one of the articles written labeled my sibling as an ‘activist.’ And I kind of chuckled because anyone who is living that life, trying to figure out who they are, trying to be the better version of themselves — they have to advocate for themselves because they’re getting threatened to extinction by fascists.”

Jon continued that he was unable to have that discussion with his family because they were unwilling to listen to his apologetics for transgenderism at this time. He also revealed that there were political disagreements within the family, and that his father held opposing viewpoints to himself.

“We, as leftists… our policies, what we believe in, it comes from a place of compassion and caring for others. And for me, growing up, I didn’t always agree with my dad’s politics, we had some debates about that. But the fact is, he taught me a little bit better than he was. To care for everybody.”

Jon ends his call by stating: “Left is love.”

Majority Report hosts Seder and Vigeland commended Jon for “hold[ing] on” to his “sense of humanity” during the difficult time he was facing.

Michael “Norah” Horwitz is currently being held at the Virginia Beach Jail, and was placed on suicide watch last week.

The motive for the crime is currently unclear.

The deceased Dr. Abbey Horwitz was a dentist and well-respected member of his community. He served as the President of the Hebrew Academy of Tidewater and the President of the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater, and was known for doing local care dentistry.

Shortly after the murder, The Post Millennial revealed that “Norah” Horwitz had published a book titled “The Diary of Menorah Horwitz,” which was described as combing his “Judaism and a love of drag in all the wrong ways when he becomes Menorah, Portland’s premiere Anne Frank impersonator.”

According to the About Us section on Dr. Horwitz’s dental website, he had been married for 25 years and had three children. His biography features a years-old ā€œHorwitz Family Photoā€ which appears to include his son prior to his gender transition.
