Prominent French LGBT Activist Operated Pedophile Ring Using His Own Foster Children, Some As Young As 5 Months Old

Disturbing new information has been released in the case of the prominent French left-wing LGBT activist who ran an international pedophile network. Pierre-Alain Cottineau, 32, was arrested in September of last year after being traced back to the horrific sexual torture of a 4-year-old disabled girl.

Cottineau first became a target for investigators after OFMIN, a branch of the French police specifically focused on crimes involving children, became aware of a violent child sexual abuse video being exchanged through Telegram. The video appeared to show a disabled girl being sexually abused by an adult man. Incredibly, investigators were able to ascertain the whereabouts of the young victim by tracing the sale and shipment history of a very unique medical bed seen in the footage.

The child was reportedly placed into Cottineau’s care after he obtained approval from Child Welfare services to become a foster parent just months before the filmed abuse took place. Disturbingly, Cottineau had specifically requested to foster children under the age of 6.

After being charged with aggravated offenses against a minor in October of 2024, including the abuse of authority and distribution of illegal material, the investigation into Cottineau’s actions widened in February, with authorities determining that he was not just a child rapist, but the head of an entire pedophile network that stretched across Europe. In messages posted on dark web forums, Cottineau boasted about having “children available” for sexual abuse.

As Reduxx previously reported, Cottineau allegedly offered up children and babies for men to rape. During the pre-arranged sessions, the men would film the rape of the victims, with some of them seemingly to have been drugged to make them easier to assault.

But a new report from Le Parisien revealed the details of even more videos that have been reviewed by investigators.

One victim was confirmed to be a baby no more than 5 months old who had been placed in Cottineau’s care. The sexual abuse of the infant was filmed and distributed in a Telegram group operated by Cottineau. Another was a young boy, approximately 3 years of age, who was seen in videos surrounded by several naked men and anally raped. In some videos, the boy is awake and in others he appears unconscious, while even more videos show the child on all fours, with a collar around his neck and a leash attached.

The boy had been placed in Cottineau’s care on multiple occasions in early 2024. One man who was interviewed by investigators described that Cottineau had in fact drugged the child as suspected, by hiding xanax, poppers, and sleeping pills into the boy’s yoghurt snacks. At least four victims have been identified in total, but investigators suspect there may be more.

Disturbingly, Le Parisien also reported that authorities had been made aware of Cottineau’s sexual barbarism as early as 2007, but had never taken any action to monitor him. According to the outlet, Cottineau’s own mother had reported him when he was just 15-years-old after she discovered that he had been sexually abusing another child in their home. No legal action was ever taken against Cottineau for the abuse – measures that may have prevented him from being eligible to foster children later on.

Before his arrest, Cottineau was an extremely prolific LGBT activist, and former political candidate for La France Insoumise, a hard-left party run by former leader of the Left Party, Jean-Luc Melechon, who came third in the most recent French presidential elections. He also co-founded multiple LGBT activist groups, and in 2018, he was elected president of The Rainbow Shelter (L’Association Esprit Arc-en-Ciel – ESAC), and hosted the community’s first-ever “forum” to combat homophobia and transphobia.

In addition to his LGBT activism, he was a member of the Association Lily Cerise et Cie, an organization which, according to its website, advocates against domestic abuse. The group also offers sex education lessons to very young children, and volunteer members have been invited by elected officials to discuss “children’s rights, consent, and intimate parts of the body,” according to information posted to their social media. In materials aimed at children which introduce LGBT themes, the group promoted and endorsed ESAC while he worked there in a leadership role.

Renaud Gaudel, the public prosecutor of Nantes, said that Cottineau did could qualify as acts of torture or barbarism. “During his police custody, the interested party admitted to organizing the rape and the damage of this very young child, as well as several sexual assaults,” he said.

Cottineau currently is in custody, awaiting trial, with the investigation ongoing to identify other involved parties.
