Disturbing new information has come to light in the case of a 30-year-old trans-identified male threatening legal action against a women’s football league after female players refused to compete against him. While playing against teams that included a number of teenage girls, Francesca Needham reportedly sold sexual services while dressed as a “schoolgirl.”
Needham recently came under widespread attention after he announced his resignation from the Rossington Main Ladies Football Club earlier this week. In a Facebook post, Needham decried the “discrimination” he claims to have experienced after multiple opposing women’s teams refused to play against him.
The quiet boycott followed an allegation that Needham had severely injured a female player during a tournament. The woman, who has not yet been identified, reportedly suffered a broken knee when blocking a shot from Needham.
Speaking anonymously to press, the manager of one of the opposing teams who refused to play against Needham’s club said that the female players were “terrified” of him, and that it was “obvious” he was male.
Another manager whose team took part in a boycott against Rossington Main Ladies explained she has many underage players in her club and was worried about their safety.
“I have 16 and 17 year old players playing for me and their parents weren’t too keen to put their welfare at risk,” she said.
Needham has threatened legal action against the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League in what appears to be an effort to force female players, including teenage girls, to play against him.
But new information on Needham is raising concerns amongst women’s rights advocates, with one user revealing that Needham has been selling sexual services for those with a “schoolgirl” fantasy.
On November 22, popular UK-based account @ripx4nutmeg began to circulate screenshots from various adult-site profiles operated by Needham, noting there was a theme of the man offering erotic “schoolgirl” services.
“The 30 year old man who is suing the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League for not forcing 16 year old girls to play football against him markets himself online as a prostitute who dresses up and role plays as a schoolgirl,” @ripx4nutmeg wrote.
As well as advertising on escorting websites, Needham is also reported to have appeared in pornographic videos which he posted on OnlyFans under the name TS_Cleo_King, including videos of him having sex with other trans-identified males.
His X (formerly Twitter) account under the same name has been recently deleted.
Needham has been found on multiple prostitution sites, including AdultWork.com, where he advertises himself as a “bisexual transgender female” and again offers to dress as a schoolgirl or cheerleader for clients.
“Cheerleader/school girl scenario as well, you come see me not exercise properly or being a naughty school girl in class and need to be punished,” Needham wrote in his profile.
Multiple reviews on the site from clients who had sex with Needham describe him as “less feminine” in real life than he is in his photos.
The Football Association (FA) says it is currently “working to find a resolution” in light of the controversy surrounding Needham’s resignation from his club, but have not commented on the threatened lawsuit.
The FA’s transgender policy states players may apply to play in a league of their “affirmed gender” and each application will be considered on a case-by-case basis, based on the “safety of the applicant and other players” and “fair competition”.
“This issue is complex and constantly evolving, and like many other national governing bodies in sport, we are currently reviewing our transgender policy for English football to ensure it is inclusive, fair and safe for all” An FA spokes person told BBC sport.
A fundraiser has been set up to raise financial support for the female player who was injured by Needham. The fundraiser states the injury was a “serious consequences of an unfortunate grey area in women’s football which is going to be extremely detrimental to her work and personal life.”
