A victim of domestic violence in Spain was shocked to learn that her abusive partner had changed his legal sex, thus protecting him from certain charges associated with male violence against women. The story first came to light at the end of July, from the small town of Redondela – a community in the northwest.
On July 24, police in the area received a call from a woman pleading for help because her husband was physically assaulting her. When the officers went to the house, they found a scene indicating violence, including reddened marks on the woman’s chest.
But when officers went to arrest the man, he boasted that he was “now a woman,” and showed them his identity documents to prove it. He had not changed his legal name or appearance in any way.
As the perpetrator had changed his legal gender marker, the only remaining option was to charge him with domestic violence – a broader category of intimate partner aggression that removes the strength distinction. While both gender-based violence and domestic violence are similarly serious criminal matters, gender-based violence charges provide the female victim important protections and resolutions which can impact divorce or separation proceedings, custody, and other factors.
Ultimately, both the man and his wife were arrested for mutual domestic assault and spent the night in prison. The next day, they appeared before the court, and the judge processed the case as domestic violence. Nor were any precautionary measures adopted because neither the Prosecutor’s Office nor the involved parties requested it.
As a result, the judge dismissed the case, leaving both free.
Speaking to Faro de Vigo, sources close to the case expressed concerns about what transpired and its implications.
“This is something very worrying; we would not dare to say that it is a fraud of law, because the truth is that the law exists and allows such a change, but we find ourselves with a person to whom certain crimes that punish violence against women cannot be applied and with an alleged victim who cannot benefit from the aid and support that is legally offered in cases of gender violence.”
In February of 2022, the Spanish government enacted what is colloquially known as the “Trans Law,” which instituted a “no questions asked” policy for those who declared they were transgender. The law also made it significantly easier for individuals to change their name and legal sex, hastening the process for applicants and removing any medical requirements.
Since the institution of the law, Spain has seen an explosion in concerns about a rise in “trans fraud,” in which men change their legal sex marker simply to gain legal or professional benefits.
In Ceuta, a small Spanish autonomous city located in the North African coast, 37 male civil servants are known to have changed their registered sex in order to obtain benefits assigned to women. Most of these men do not change their name, and retain a “male-presenting” appearance.
Spanish men are flocking to change their gender to "female" and reap financial and legal benefits thanks to the country's new Trans Law.
One man has boasted of getting an increase in his pension as he is now legally recognized as a "mother."https://t.co/TiuwsbP6g2
Men have also been using the law to their advantage in their interactions with the justice system.
As previously reported by Reduxx, a man in Catalonia who abused his female partner avoided charges of gender-based violence by legally changing his identification to “female” and adopting a woman’s name just prior to being prosecuted.
The couple, who were in their 60s, had been together for 11 years, but after the man began expressing an interest in crossdressing and other extreme fetishes, the woman asked to break off their intimate relationship.
He then became violent towards her and began sexually and physically abusing her in retaliation for her refusal to participate in his kinks.
A Spanish man who abused his girlfriend for being unsupportive of his desire to grow breasts has avoided charges of gender-based violence after changing his legal sex.
The abuser has since filed a complaint against his victim for "misgendering" him.https://t.co/Ui7DC9aixy
After seeking help with the police, the woman discovered he had already changed his legal sex marker, and thus she would not be provided any protections for female victims of male crime.

A 50 year-old trans-identified male from Italy is set to become the first man to compete in a women’s category at the Paris Paralympics. Valentina Petrillo, whose birth name is Fabrizio, who competes in the women’s T12 classification, for athletes with visual impairments, and currently holds 8 women’s running championship titles, despite failing to earn even one while competing as a male.
Petrillo has been diagnosed with Stargardt disease, a disorder of the eye that causes retinal degeneration over time. Due to this visual impairment, he has been permitted to compete in both matches designated for women with disabilities, as well as those which are not.
At the Paralympic Games, which are scheduled to run from August 28 to September 8, Petrillo will run in the women’s T12 200m and 400m. He was cleared to compete against female athletes, despite being a man, by International Paralympic Committee (IPC) President Andrew Parsons. The IPC works closely with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and the two have self-described as “strategic partners.”
Speaking to BBC Sport, Parsons revealed that the IPC does not enforce an official position for or against allowing men to self-identify into women’s sport, but rather “[allow] individual sports to make their rules in terms of transgender,” which results in rules that are “different from sport to sport.”
“Some are coming with different positions on transgender, or with the criteria to allow them or not to allow them, so I’m not surprised by the repercussions of it,” Parsons said. He added that he hoped the sporting community would “unite” on policies dealing with gender identity.
According to the World Para Athletics Championships guidance on participation, “an athlete shall be eligible to compete in women’s competition if she is recognized as female by law.” But their policy book goes on to note that it will “deal with any cases involving transgender athletes in accordance with the IOC’s transgender guidelines.”
Petrillo first changed his name to Valentina and began taking estrogen in 2019. The following year, he began competing against female athletes and has since broken multiple Italian women’s running records.
Speaking about his personal history with the BBC in June 2021, Petrillo said: “Until four years ago, if you’d talked to Fabrizio (the name Petrillo was given at birth), Fabrizio would have given you the idea he was sexist. He was a tough guy who’d speak dismissively of women and then be a woman in his private space.”
Mariuccia Quilleri, an athlete and lawyer who has represented several female athletes who oppose Petrillo’s participation in women’s races, told the BBC that inclusion had been chosen over fairness and “there is not much more we can do.”
Some of the female athletes that Petrillo has defeated in races have told Quilleri that they feel “discriminated against.” As early as 2021, just two years after Petrillo began competing against women, more than 30 female Master athletes signed a petition opposing men being permitted to identify into women’s sports.
Among the signatories were Cristina Sanulli and Denise Neumann, both of whom had previously won world and European Masters titles and have been regarded as the best in their events – but were outpaced by Petrillo at the Master’s Athletics Championships in Arezzo in October 2020.
As previously reported by Reduxx, in March 2023 Petrillo competed in and took first at the 200m race for women aged 50 to 54 at the Italian Indoor Masters Championship in Ancona. In the process, he also broke a women’s running record.
Leading up to the race, women’s rights advocacy group RadFem Italia contacted government officials to ensure that Petrillo would not be granted access to the women’s locker rooms. In response, Petrillo was provided with a designated changing room specifically for him at the race grounds.
During the controversy, Petrillo allegedly stated, “The state recognizes me as a woman, male genitals do not count.”
Petrillo soon after lashed out in a Facebook post wherein he equated criticism of his presence in women’s sports to Nazism, telling detractors they were “on the same level as Hitler” and comparing sex-based sports categories to a 1936 ban on Jewish athletes.
Upset at being denied the use of the women’s locker room, Petrillo wrote, “In Ancona, you made me have a terrible time, it is not fair… you’ve relegated me to a ‘dedicated’ locker room,” a situation which he claimed was similar to the segregation of those called appestati, or sufferers of a plague.
In July 2023, Petrillo seized the bronze medal in the women’s 400m T12 running competition at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships in Paris, thereby qualifying for the 2024 games.
In September 2020, Petrillo raced in the women’s 100-, 200- and 400-meter competitions at the Italian Paralympic Athletics Championships in Jesolo, despite having not undergone the procedure euphemistically labeled sex reassignment surgery.
Additionally, Petrillo had not altered his identification documents, which still listed his sex as male, though this did not deter him from being granted permission to enter the match. He won first place in all three races and therefore qualified to represent Italy at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
At the last minute, however, the Italian government intervened and barred Petrillo from competing against women with disabilities at the Paralympics in 2021. The International Olympics Committee (IOC) had just announced updates to guidelines for trans-identifying competitors stating that male athletes must keep the levels of their testosterone below 10 nanomoles per liter for at least 12 months in order to participate.
After being awarded three gold medals at the Paralympics qualifiers, Petrillo dedicated his victory to Bologna-based trans activist organization Gruppo Trans APS, headed by a trans-identifying male named Milena Bargiacchi.
“I dedicated to them my victory in my favorite race,” Petrillo told OutSports. “Gruppo Trans supported me in my darkest hour, and they helped me find the answers I needed when I was questioning my identity and my life.”
Gruppo Trans lobbies for males to be allowed to compete in women’s sports and frequently employs Petrillo as a representative. He has spoken for Gruppo Trans on several occasions, and the organization is backing a documentary film about Petrillo’s life called “5 Nanomoles – The Olympic Dream of a Trans Woman.” The title is a reference to the maximum testosterone limit set by World Athletics in 2019 for trans-identifying males in order for them to be eligible to compete against women.
Petrillo has stated that he used to “try on his mother’s clothes” when he was younger, a behavior that until recently was considered a symptom of a sexual disorder known as transvestic fetishism. He has also said that prior to declaring a transgender identity, Petrillo would steal hiswife’s clothing. While describing a memory of “touching” his mother’s skirt for the first time, Petrillo said, “It was an incredible emotion. It was like touching heaven with your finger tip.”
In addition to partnering with Petrillo to campaign for males in women’s athletics events, Gruppo Trans also discusses “trans adolescents” and offers a variety of “training” programs through their website. Corporate diversity management training, courses for health care workers, and gender identity workshops for teachers are all available, as are lessons for children intended to be provided by instructors at schools.
Gruppo Trans’ website has a section dedicated to outreach for crossdressers, where counseling and Zoom sessions are offered. The point of contact is a man called Charlotte Verniani, who runs a lingerie and sex shop and engages in a fetish practice called “female masking,” a sexual activity which involves men donning a silicone “female” face mask, or, on occasion, a full-body silicone “woman suit.” Verniani, who works with Gruppo Trans alongside Petrillo, has stated that he believes that transvestites are “the last slaves.”

A female boxer has come forward to reveal that Imane Khelif had “male power” and used “male techniques” during a sparring match in Sofia, Bulgaria. Joana Nwamerue said she met Khelif in Bulgaria, and was told by members of the Algerian National Team that Khelif was a woman who had simply been biologically altered by living in the mountains.
Providing brief comment to Reduxx, Nwamerue, who is so far undefeated in her boxing career, said she felt it was important to speak out because of her support for women in her home country of Bulgaria.
“[Khelif] has some kind of internal issues. But he is a man. I will stay [by] my words until he/she does a test to prove to the world that he/she is a WOMAN. But we all know that won’t happen,” Nwamerue told us, asserting multiple times that she believes the Algerian is male.
Reduxx reached out to Nwamerue after she appeared on a podcast with her friend Georgi Petkov to discuss the situation with the women’s boxing controversies at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
While speaking with Petkov, Nwamerue revealed she had been matched to fight against Khelif during a sparring session in Sofia, which took place in February ahead of the annual Strandzha Cup. During their time in the ring, Nwamerue says Khelif was “impudent” during the session, mocking her by sticking his tongue out and smiling at her.
“I think we played 3-4 sparring sessions. I have a record of everything. I can confirm that this is a man to me. Male power. Men’s techniques, everything,” Nwamerue explains. While she notes she was not injured during the match, she says she had concerns for the safety of the other female boxers Khelif would face.
“I’m a tomboy, I take a lot of hits and I know how to hold on. But the other girls are not so strong.”
The issue of Khelif’s sex came up during the Sofia training session, with members of the Algerian National Team apparently playing defense for Khelif and insisting to other participants that he was a woman who had somehow been biologically altered by living in the mountains.
“[Khelif’s] teammates came to me and told me ‘Imane is not a man. She is a woman and just lives high in the mountains with her relatives and parents and so there may be a change in her testosterone or chromosomes and the like,'” Nwamerue says. “So myself and my coach watched [Khelif] and I said ‘that can’t be possible.’ Everywhere has people living in the mountains. It’s absurd.”
Nwamerue adds that her coach replied incredulously, questioning the “mountain” theory of Khelif’s physical abnormalities by noting that other world and European boxing federations had implemented bans on him, and that “only the Olympics” was allowing Khelif to compete.
“Obviously there’s some competition between federations and they’re shitting on one another, but it’s extremely unfair. It’s like pitting a motorcycle against a bicycle,” Nwamerue explains. “For people who don’t understand combat sports. Motor vs bicycle. Will the bicycle be faster and win, or the motorbike?”
Nwamerue is in the same weight class as Khelif, and had been one of the female boxers selected by Bulgaria to go to the Olympic qualifiers in Bangkok. But, despite intensive training, Nwamerue did not make the final Olympic pick. Her colleague, Svetlana Staneva, moved ahead to represent the nation in the Featherweight (57KG) category.
“It was one of the strongest matches I watched. I congratulate Staneva and say that I am proud to know her,” Nwamerue said, adding: “What impressed me the most was her gesture.”
Staneva launched an international movement following the match with Lin after making an “XX” symbol at the crowd using her fingers, a clear nod to the chromosome controversy that had surrounded Lin and Khelif.
“I think that for me both of the current cases in boxing – Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting – are men. Even if they have childhood photos in dresses, to me they are men,” Nwamerue says, ending by calling for a separate federation to be made for those with issues surrounding their gender identity or biological sex.
“People who have internal problems, so to speak, should not compete against women and should fix their problems before taking any initiatives. If [Lin] is a woman with male characteristics, this is still not okay. Once you have been tested for internal problems and you are not a ‘clear woman,’ if I may say so, then these things remain. You are a woman according to documents and photo, but to me you are a man. It’s not fair to us women.”
As previously reported by Reduxx, it is known that other national boxing teams expressed concerns about Khelif long before the Algerian’s controversial Olympic appearance.
Speaking to Radio Marca, Rafa Lozano, former Olympic boxer and the Technical Commissioner of the Spanish boxing team, stated that at a training camp in Spain, Khelif caused injuries to every woman he fought.
“They were doing a retreat at Blume and we couldn’t put [Khelif] with anyone. We put [Khelif] with Jennifer Fernandez and it hurt her. Whoever we put [Khelif] with was injured.”
The situation became so dire that the team found it necessary to place Khelif with a male boxer during sparring matches in order to “make it even.”
Despite some supporters claiming otherwise, extensive information has been repeatedly provided by the International Boxing Association and numerous sports scientists, coaches, and doctors, who have confirmed that neither Khelif nor Lin are genetically female. While neither is believed to be transgender, both are suspected to be impacted by a Difference of Sexual Development.
Abrahamson revealed that the tests “concluded the boxer’s DNA was that of a male consisting of XY chromosomes.”
Khelif’s trainer, Georges Cazorla, has similarly confirmed that a French endocrinologist found a “problem with [Khelif’s] hormones” and “with [Khelif’s] chromosomes.” Describing Khelif’s reaction to the test results he stated, “this poor young girl was devastated, devastated to suddenly discover that she might not be a girl.”
EDIT: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated in one line that Svetlana Staneva fought Imane Khelif, rather than Lin Yu-Ting. The article has been updated to correct that line.

having now gotten ready in the ladies locker room at the gym for the first time, am happy to report that
1. unlike men’s locker rooms where every guy over 40 is waving his penis around to prove to the others that he has one, older women are as clothed as everyone else
Tomorrow at noon a Missouri state fucking representative and a mob of hateful people are gathering at the Lifetime Fitness in Ellisville to show me how much they hate me for existing as a trans woman with rights
Lifetime Fitness just decided to solve their trans girl in the locker room problem by misreading my remarks today as threats of violence rather than threats of law suits and terminating my membership, and having the police walk me out

Francamente, me pareció repugnante.

Shocking news out of the Olympic boxing controversy as the Technical Commissioner of the Spanish boxing team reveals that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif was reportedly considered too dangerous for women to train against during a boxing retreat in Spain.
Speaking to Radio Marca, former Olympian boxer and Olympic boxing trainer Rafa Lozano revealed that he thought the inclusion of Khelif in the women’s category was unjust and dangerous to females. “I don’t see it as fair. Everyone can think what they want, but that’s how I see it,” Lozano said, recalling his observations of the Algerian during a training retreat at the sport centre CAR Blume in Madrid.
“They were doing a retreat at Blume and we couldn’t put her with anyone. We put [Khelif] with Jennifer Fernandez and it hurt her. Whoever we put [Khelif] with was injured.”
Lozano says that to avoid further injury to the women, the coaches ended up pairing Khelif up with Jose Quiles, who is one of Spain’s top male boxers, during the retreat. Quiles, 26 and one of Spain’s top boxers, was considered a more equitable match for Khelif to spar against, with Lozano noting that Khelif was only “even” after being matched against the man.
Lozano continued that he believed that allowing Lin and Khelif to compete in the female category was not appropriate, “from my point of view I don’t see it as fair.”
But Lozano is not the only sport expert who weighed in on Khelif’s ineligibility to compete against women, with another being Khelif’s own trainer.
In an exclusive interview with Le Point magazine, Khelif’s coach confirmed that the Algerian has a male karyotype and high testosterone.
Georges Cazorla told the magazine of Khelif’s distress when disqualified by the IBA in 2023, confirming that biological tests had been carried out by the IBA that revealed that Khelif may not be female.
Cazorla is the President of the Association for Research and Evaluation in Physical Activity and Sport (AREAPS), a scientific advisor, and a former lecturer University of Bordeaux who supervised the master’s thesis of Khelif’s manager, Nasser Yefsah. At the end of 2022, Yefsah contacted Cazorla to assist with Khelif’s training for the world championships, the African championships and the Olympic Games.
“The [disqualification] was based on tests. Frankly, I found it disgusting. Regardless of the results of these biological tests and, without going into detail – that is a matter for biologists and doctors – this poor young girl was devastated, devastated to suddenly discover that she might not be a girl,” Cazorla said.
He goes on to continuously assert that Khelif lived as a girl and has a “girl’s sensitivity,” but adds that Khelif has a “special” body type. When asked if individuals with “XY profiles” have specific physical advantages over those with “XX profiles,” Cazorla refused to say whether males were generally stronger than females.
“Some say that special categories should be made, but even within a group of hypoandrogenic or hyperandrogenic people, there are differences between them. There is such a large variation that we cannot constitute categories,” Cazorla said, appearing to bizarrely reject the validity of sex-based sport categories.
During the revealing interview, Cazorla claims that Khelif did not understand the meaning of signing the letter acknowledging the IBA’s test results, but says that the Algerian boxer was still taken to the Kremlin-Bicêtre Hospital for assessment by endocrinologists.
Cazorla said that a doctor confirmed that there was a “a problem with [Khelif’s] hormones” and “with [Khelif’s] chromosomes,” but continued to insist during the interview that Khelif “is a woman.”
Following the meeting with the endocrinologist, Khelif was placed on testosterone suppressants in an effort to circumvent any potential testosterone-level checks made by the IOC. The IOC had not submitted athletes to chromosomal testing since 1999 and, at the Paris Olympics, only document checks were competed for the women’s boxing competitions.
“Currently, she can be compared on a muscular and biological level to a woman-woman-woman,” Cazorla says, suggesting Khelif is not seen as fully female by the coaching team.
This may finally confirm the speculation by sports scientists, who have roundly claimed that Khelif is a genetic male with a Disorder of Sexual Development (DSD).
Following the initial Reduxx report which broke the news that Khelif and another previously-disqualified athlete, Lin Yu-Ting, had been included in the Women’s Boxing at this year’s Olympics, a media storm has surrounded the two boxers. Both obtained gold in their respective categories this past week.
Over the course of the past two weeks, the International Boxing Association, which had been responsible for Khelif and Lin’s 2023 disqualifications, has stood firm in support of their past decision. The IBA has released evidence, statements, and even held a press conference to explain the reasoning for the boxer’s disqualification and had released details of the 2023 correspondence between the IBA, the boxers, and the International Olympic Committee.
During the August 5 press conference, IBA officials discussed the reasoning for the boxers being disqualified, and informed the audience that bothboxers had not appealed the decision to the Court of Arbitration in Sport despite facing no financial burden to do so.
The IBA also detailed their attempts to warn the IOC of the dangers of including the boxers in the female competition in an email which the IOC replied to and then allegedly ignored until the recent media storm.
It was also clarified by the IBA that the boxers were found to be ineligible due to their chromosomes, and that they were being prevented from releasing the results of the tests by the boxers’ respective National Olympic Committees of Algeria and Taiwan. But the IBA told those in attendance to “read between the lines” indicating the boxers do not have XX chromosomes and to come to their own logical conclusions.
Clarification was also given by Dr. Ioannis Filippatos, the former Chair of IBA Medical Committee who spoke at the conference and confirmed that the blood and medical tests found the boxers were male. It is reported that during the conference, BBC journalists walked out in protest.
In an IOC press conference in response to the scandal, Thomas Bach articulated that the IOC only used the legal sex of an athlete, such as that documented on their passport, to determine their eligibility to compete in the women’s category.
At one point, Bach was forced to issue a correction of an erroneous statement he made in which he said that the cases of Lin and Khelif were “not a DSD case.” A hasty clarification changed “DSD” to “transgender,” all but confirming the previous speculation on the two.
Speaking at a Sex Matters Press Briefing on the topic of the inclusion of males in women’s sports and the Olympic Boxing eligibility controversy, Dr. Emma Hilton, a developmental biologist, explained that “allowing a male into the female boxing ring is kind of the equivalent of letting a heavyweight into the ring with a lightweight.”
Dr. Hilton continued by stating that people underestimate the “chasm” of difference between male and female strength, adding: “a female has to be well over 30 kilograms heavier than a male to match strength levels.”
Further evidence of Khelif’s disproportionate strength compared to female boxers was illustrated in an interview with Mexican boxer Brianda Tamara Cruz, who boxed Khelif at the Golden Belt Series Finals in Guadalajara in 2022, the year before he was disqualified.
“When I fought [Khelif], I felt it was very out of my reach, I was hurt a lot by [the] punches, I think I had never in my 13 years as a boxer felt like this, not even in my sparring with men.” Cruz went on to tell the outlet that she felt she narrowly escaped a potentially fatal situation, and the disqualification came in time to prevent such a scenario recurring, “Thank God, that day I came out of the ring well and it’s good that they finally realized.”
EDIT: A previous version of this article incorrectly named the French hospital where the endocrinology test on Khelif was completed due to a mistranslation. The article has been updated to re-label “Greater Paris University Hospital” to “Kremlin-Bicêtre Hospital.”

A man who began using the women’s locker room at a Missouri gym after changing his legal gender marker has prompted outcry after a patron lodged a formal complaint against him with local police. Eris Discordia Montano, who posts photos of himself with weapons to his social media, was first reported to law enforcement on July 29 after being spotted in the female facilities of the Ellisville Life Time Fitness.
Following the first complaint, several more women came forward to express their concerns about Montano, prompting Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey to issue a statement announcing an investigation into the fitness center on August 2. According to a letter from the Attorney General’s office sent to the CEO of Life Time Fitness, Bahram Akradi, women who had complained about Montano’s presence in the women’s locker room were chastised and told to refer to him with the “correct” feminine pronouns.
“It has come to my attention that Life Time Fitness has proudly adopted a policy that permits biological men to use locker rooms designated specifically for women and young girls,” reads the Attorney General’s letter. “Even more concerning is the fact that instead of taking the safety concerns from your gym members seriously, you rudely correct them and insist they call this biological male by the ‘correct pronouns.’ While it might be considered fashionable in certain corporate boardrooms to pretend that biology is irrelevant, the American heartland still lives in reality.”
Bailey continues by notifying Life Time Fitness of a formal inquiry.
“Missourians recognize that allowing adult men to openly invade and disrobe in spaces set aside for women and young girls is indefensible and places political correctness above public safety. That is why I am putting you on notice that you are under investigation.”
The official statement issued by the Attorney General’s office informed Missouri residents that Bailey had “immediately put the gym on notice that they face both potential criminal and civil liability for putting women and girls in harm’s way,” and the process of issuing subpoenas had begun.
Montano, who until April this year was known as Oren Montano and identifies as a “trans-fem, polyamorous goddess of strife and discord,” has been actively posting about the ordeal on social media over the past week, beginning with remarks made on X immediately after using the women’s locker room wherein he referred to women who appeared to disapprove of his presence as “Karens,” a derogatory term typically used against white women.
“Having now gotten ready in the ladies locker room at the gym for the first time, am happy to report that unlike men’s locker rooms, where every guy over 40 is waving his penis around to prove to others that he has one, older women are as clothed as everyone else.”
“With the exception of a couple of visibly obvious Karens who gave me a look and used the furthest sink from me, literally everyone else was hyper welcoming,” he added.
As news of Montano’s use of the female facilities began to spread, Missouri State Representative Justin Sparks uploaded a video to Facebook commenting on the situation.
“I’m trying to calm down. I was really upset today by something that happened,” Sparks said. “It became apparent to my office that a grown man was going to Life Time Fitness and was using the women’s locker room to get changed and exposed himself to people in the female locker room.”
Sparks went on to explain that as a former police officer, he had “dealt with weirdos, men who like to show their genitals to women,” otherwise known as public exposure. “It was against the law then, and it’s against the law now… For a grown man to hide under the guise of transgenderism in order to reveal his genitals to women and children is abhorrent,” Sparks said. He also praised the Ellisville police department for responding “swiftly” and “professionally.”
Montano shared Sparks’ video with a comment that seemed to be a veiled threat of litigation, saying that he was “itchy” to find out “what the maximum award so far in the US has been for a public defamation lawsuit.”
In an August 4 Facebook post, Montano accused his critics of having sexual motivations themselves, and stated, “People who think others would find nudity in locker rooms tantalizing are literally telling on themselves. None of the rest of us get even slightly excited by that stuff.”
A woman who Reduxx has chosen not to name replied: “I think it’s more about the children being in the locker rooms that people are not okay with… This isn’t an adult locker room it’s for everyone including children and you’re pushing yourself in there to prove point is saying that no one else’s feelings matter except your own which is very narcissistic… I say this is all bullshit and that you’re doing this for attention.”
In response, Montano accused the woman of being a sexual predator, saying, “Beginning to wonder how many children you’ve exposed yourself to given that you’re speaking like someone who does not use the private changing rooms and the club’s modesty in the locker rooms policy? Exposing yourself to other people daughters is still exposure if they don’t want it.”
Last Saturday, August 3, a crowd of protesters demonstrated outside of the Ellisville Life Time Fitness demanding that men be denied permission to self-identify into the women’s changing facilities and showers. On X, Montano described the protest as a “mob of hateful people” whose intentions were to “show how much they hate me for existing as a trans woman”. Trans activists were also present and attempted to drown out speakers with chants of “bigotry has got to go”.
However, under threat of legal action being filed against the company by the state, and facing mounting public pressure, Life Time Fitness terminated Montano’s gym membership, and, on August 5 Montano claimed that the police escorted him out of the building.
But despite his repeated claims of victimhood and pattern of accusing his critics of sexual deviancy, Montano had apparently been undergoing the process of altering his identification with the thought of using a women’s locker room in mind.
In March, just a month before his legal name change and four months before he altered his sex marker on his ID, Montano remarked on X, “Transphobes will demand that I come into the men’s locker room and show underage boys my boobs and then have the audacity to call anyone but themselves a pedophile.”
In the days following the controversy, Montano has also made repeated posts to social media about his sexual behavior. On August 7, a day after his gym membership was terminated, Montano was especially prolific and made a series of unhinged posts on Facebook.
“One thing most people don’t get is that once a person can have girly orgasms, no one I know of would opt for a penile orgasm,” Montano wrote. “Why take a sneeze over seeing the face of god for multiple minutes?”
The same day, Montano again lashed out at critics by boasting of his sexual encounters. “I’ve had weekends that contained more sex than these yahoos’ entire lifetimes, yet they still see themselves as alpha something or other,” he wrote. “Is that only true when their wife unlocks their cock cage?”
Another post from Wednesday alleged that Rep. Sparks was running cover for pedophiles: “With idiots like Justin Sparks crying wolf accusing innocents like myself of heinous crimes against children, is he going to make us miss the real predators? Intentional or not, is he covering for them with noise?”
Yet another status update contained an image of a vibrator designed for women, which Montano had shared to the social media platform X with the caption, “OG MILF vibe, better than the corded ones… I once saw a friend almost get electrocuted when the girl they were using it on splooshed.”
Disturbingly, before claiming a transgender status, Montano had also been posting online about BDSM, kink, ‘polyamory‘, and “bespoke porn” generated using artificial intelligence.
“You understand that Open Source Porn is 100% computer generated and you could download and run the models right now,” Montano, a programmer, posted to X last June.
The same day, he added, “Womyn don’t need men. Period. Men watching porn indefinitely in a locked room drugged out of their minds is a great way for them to no longer trouble womyn.”
Prior to claiming to be transgender, Montano had been creating AI-generated music containing political messaging and gender identity theory, sung in a woman’s voice.
He also had unsuccessfully attempted to become a cult leader and created a Facebook page and website for his belief system which he called The Church of Chaos.
He also designed a website for an AI company, one of multiple such endeavors, which he named Eldritch, Inc., and invited the unpaid participation of “cultists,” who he described as “people who have been touched by the company’s message and have chosen to spread it.”
“The benefits of being a cultist will be access to our technology before the general public, and the ability to help shape the future of our technology,” he explains on the site. Montano appears to believe that technology will save humanity from imminent destruction, but that only a few will be chosen while the majority of the population is abandoned. He has written extensively about his belief system online in blog posts where he seems convinced that emotions can be mapped out in code.
Montano’s conflict with Life Time Fitness was sympathetically reported by the Associated Press last week in an article that referred to him as a “woman.”

A Hungarian sports official has come out and stated that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is not female. István Kovács, the European Vice President of the World Boxing Organization and former Secretary General of the International Boxing Association, told Hungarian press that he had warned the International Olympic Committee about males participating in women’s boxing as early as 2022, but that nothing was done.
In a shocking statement made to Magyar Nemzet yesterday, Kovács confirmed the speculation surrounding the Algerian boxer, adding that it had been known as early as 2022 that Khelif was biologically male.
“The problem was not with the level of Khelif’s testosterone, because that can be adjusted nowadays, but with the result of the gender test, which clearly revealed that the Algerian boxer is biologically male,” Kovács said in an interview with Magyar Nemzet, adding that a total of five boxers had been examined including Khelif by the International Boxing Association, and all of them “were indeed men.”
Kovács asserted that he personally reported the shocking result immediately to the International Olympics Committee, “but as unbelievable as it is, they have not responded to this to this day.” The retired world champion boxer also commented that he recently spoke with former women’s world champion Mária Kovács, who bitterly remarked that in modern women’s boxing, “there is a 20 percent chance that one of the athletes will suffer a testicular injury.”
Kovács added that he was actively discouraging Hungary’s Anna Luca Hámori from going ahead with her Olympic match against Khelif, which is set to take place on August 3. While Kovács said that he didn’t believe Khelif was a particularly good boxer, he expressed concerns that Hámori had not been properly trained to fight a male opponent.
“The biggest problem is that Hámori can only realize her big dream of winning a medal at the summer games at the first Olympics of her life if she beats a man. She was simply not trained for this,” Kovács said.
Despite the risks, Hámori has been taking it in stride, and even pushing back against Khelif at apparent risk of IOC sanctions. On August 2, Hámori posted a photo to her Instagram story showing an AI-generated image of a female boxer facing-off against a large, horned male devil.
The Algerian Olympic Committee submitted a complaint against Hámori to the IOC over her social media posts, and she was reportedly been forced to delete them and may have to apologize to Khelif.
These developments come as a wildfire of debate and discussion have surrounded the participation of Khelif in the women’s category. As first reported by Reduxx, Khelif is one of two individuals previously disqualified from the 2023 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships for failing chromosomal testing.
“The cover-up and championing of male athletes in women’s Olympic sports is the greatest sports scandal of our lifetime,” Smith said. The Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) is a non-partisan network and advocacy group comprised of current and former collegiate and professional women athletes. Earlier this year, ICONS launched a lawsuit against the NCAA with one dozen female athletes challenging their policies allowing transgender athletes to compete against females and use female locker rooms in college sports.
“The IOC MUST reinstate sex verification testing TODAY to begin to prove their commitment to the rights of female athletes. They are impostors promoting gender parity while deliberately deceiving the public and athletes about the true sex of competitors in the world’s most elite and dangerous competition.”
In addition to demanding the reinstatement of sex testing at the Olympics, Smith, a former NCAA & PAC-10 Champion Swimmer, is also calling for a thorough investigation to be launched into the impact of the IOC’s policies.
“A full and thorough investigation is urgently required, and heads must roll within the IOC to account for this unthinkable injustice against women,” Smith says.
The Women’s World Boxing Championships took place in March of 2023 and was hosted in New Delhi, India. A total of 324 boxers from 64 nations competed during the 10-day trial, marking the largest participation in any iteration of the championship ever recorded.
However, the grand event was marred by controversy after Umar Kremlev, president of the IBA, announced the disqualification of multiple boxers from the championship.
Kremlev said that IBA executives had met towards the championship’s grand finale to discuss “fairness among athletes and professionalism,” after concerns were raised about the biological sex of some participants. Speaking to TASS News, he added that after “a series of DNA-tests,” the IBA “uncovered athletes who were trying to fool their colleagues and pretend to be women.”
Among the known boxers disqualified from the championship was Taiwan’s Lin Yu-Ting and Algeria’s Imane Khelif. Neither are believed to be transgender, and are instead suspected to be impacted by Differences of Sexual Development.
Following our initial report, many claimed that Lin and Khelif’s disqualifications had been the result of abnormalities in their testosterone levels, but that they were biologically female. However, a subsequent statement by the IBA revealed that testosterone levels had not been the reason for their disqualification.
According to the IBA’s Technical Competition Rules, “woman/female/girl” is defined as “an individual with chromosome XX.” The IBA states that boxers will be subjected to tests to confirm whether they meet this definition, which serves as the gender eligibility criteria for female boxing.
In a statement released July 31, the IBA stated that Khelif and Lin had been provided the opportunity to appeal the disqualification at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Lin declined to do so, while Khelif submitted an appeal before withdrawing it.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport previously oversaw the case of South African runner Caster Semenya, who had accused World Athletics (then called IAAF) of having “discriminatory policies” concerning athletes with Differences of Sexual Development. Though he claimed to be a biological female, Semenya was found to have XY chromosomes. Most women, including elite female athletes, have natural testosterone levels of 0.12 to 1.79 nanomoles per liter (nmol/L), but Semenya has male gonads producing a normal level of testosterone for a male.
Male athletes with DSDs are sometimes actively sought out by national coaches because of their tremendous “natural” advantage over biological females.
