Police Contacting Those Concerned About Trans Girlguiding Leader

UK Police forces have been contacting parents and members of the public expressing concerns over the appointment of a biological male with a disturbing social media history to a senior position within the UK Girl Guides Franchise.

Monica Sulley, a male who identifies as a woman, became the lead Commissioner for the Southwell division of Girl Guides UK, known there as Girlguiding, in July of 2021 but came to widespread attention later on in the year.

Sulley’s appointment came on the heels of a female Girlguiding leader being expelled from the organization on the basis of her belief that girls should not be forced to shower or share tents with males who identify as women. Helen Watts had been a supporting member of the Guides for over 15 years prior to being sacked due to her views.

Women’s rights-concerned users on social media have expressed upset over Sulley’s appointment since it came to widespread public scrutiny in November of 2021, with some noting that Sulley was taking a position from an actual woman

But sleuths quickly uncovered some disturbing posts Sulley has made on his social media accounts – including him posing with weapons, and him dressed in bondage gear, captioning himself “Mistress.”

Girlguiding introduced a pro-trans policy in 2018, and immediately received backlash from members of the public who had child safeguarding concerns.

While Girlguiding framed their policies as being directed towards including and supporting children, they tip-toed around the fact they were also allowing adult males who identified as women to take leadership positions within the organization in proximity to and control over the youth.

News of Sulley’s appointment has been met with backlash from women’s rights activists and netizens concerned over his inappropriate online behavior as well as his motivations for being involved in the organization.

One user said “Why would you be so insensitive towards women and girls that you would do this? I’ve managed my whole life without being involved with guiding and I’m a woman, it’s hardly traumatic to not be involved.”

Another user suggested that the message it was sending to young women was possibly harmful, and that it simply demonstrated males would be readily able to gain leadership over females in exclusive spaces simply by identifying as women.

Now, a slew of complaints have begun cropping up on Twitter from users reporting Police have been contacting those who had expressed outrage at Sulley’s appointment, or raised concerns for the safety of children in the Girlguiding franchise.

On January 19, Labour Councillor Nina Killen posted to Twitter that a friend of hers had been threatened with arrest by police, and had been forced to attend a questioning. This followed her writing a letter to Girlguiding with safeguarding concerns.

Councillor Killen wasn’t the only one. Another Twitter user noted in a separate post that a friend of hers had also been contacted by police on the same issue.

The user, @MDayCassandra, called on others to share similar experiences if they had them — and multiple users replied to her post noting they were aware of other incidents where people had also been subject to Police contact for writing to Girlguiding with complaints.
The consistent nature of the comments would suggest that the Nottinghamshire branch of Girlguiding, where Sulley is retained as a leader, may be reporting comments received on his appointment to the Police.

Reduxx has reached out to the branch to request comment or confirmation on whether they have been forwarding complaints to law enforcement, but did not receive a response.

Teacher Removed from School Board Meeting for “Transphobia”

A teacher in Canada was removed from a local school board meeting after being accused of “transphobia.”

Carolyn Burjoski, a Waterloo Region District School Board teacher, expressed concerns over themes found in children’s books that related to sexuality and gender identity during a January 17 presentation which took place over Zoom.

“I am very concerned that some of the resources in our elementary school libraries are inappropriate for young children,” said Burjoski. She then proceeded to give examples of books available in libraries accessible to children aged six to twelve years old.

“In the book Rick, by Alex Gino, a boy named Jeff keeps talking to Rick about naked girls. Rick is confused because he doesn’t think about naked girls, so he wonders if something’s wrong with him,” explained Burjoski.

“Rick gets invited to the school’s rainbow club and ends up declaring an asexual identity. While reading this book I was thinking, ‘Maybe Rick doesn’ have sexual feelings yet because he is a child. Also, what message does this send to young girls who might be in grade three or four? They are children. Let them grow up in their own time and stop pressuring them to be sexual so soon,” asserted Burjoski.

Ms Burjoski then began to express concerns that the book The Other Boy by MG Hennessey made it seem “simple, or even cool to take puberty blockers and opposite sex hormones.”

In the page highlighted in Burjoski’s presentation, a young girl called Shane had been placed on puberty blockers which in turn prevented her from “going through a female puberty.”

A doctor then tells the girl’s father that she “won’t be able to have children naturally,” to which Shane replies, “It’s cool.”

It was at this point that WRDSB trustee Scott Piatkowski interrupted Burjoski to say, “I’m getting a little concerned that your content may be problematic. I would caution you to make sure that you’re not saying anything that would violate the human rights code.”

Undaunted, Burjoski continued: “This book is misleading because it does not take into account how Shane might feel later in life about being infertile. This book makes very serious medical interventions seem like an easy cure for emotional and social distress.”

Piatkowski again interjected, stating, “The Ontario Human Rights Code includes gender identity and gender expression as grounds for discrimination and I’m concerned that your comments are in violation of that. I’m ending the presentation,” Piatkowski said.

“I believe the delegation is talking about age appropriateness,” said Trustee Cindy Watson, who was supporting Burjoski’s right to continue speaking.

On January 19, Burjoski’s comments and censorship were made public when evolutionary biologist and Quillette editor Colin Wright shared the link to the video of the school board meeting. The WRDSB subsequently removed the video from YouTube, and Piatkowski tweeted, “I made a ruling. Trustees upheld that ruling. I stand by it.”

Trans-Identified Male Charged With Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material

A trans-identified male was arrested on December 15, 2021 for the distribution of child sexual abuse materials. Kalen Brennan Woodard, who goes by Kaelyn Nichole Woodard on social media, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been charged with three counts of distribution of pornography involving juveniles.

Reporting on the arrest, most news articles referred to Woodard as a man and made no mention of his self-declared gender identity. However, Woodard’s personal Facebook profile contains several references to him identifying as transgender.

A blog post by Baton Rogue-based journalist Kiran Chawla states that officials were able to match Woodard’s email address and online username during a conversation with an undercover agent. During the interaction, Woodard sent a video and picture containing child sexual abuse material to the agent. According to Chawla, after his arrest Woodard admitted that he enjoyed incest porn and claimed to be sexually aroused by children.

Woodard’s arrest was the result of a joint investigation conducted by the FBI and Louisiana State Police which began in September. According to Chawla, Woodard said he was transgender in a chat with the undercover agent on September 23 2021, at which time he also told the agent he had sexually abused his young nephew and niece in the past.

According to arrest documents obtained by local news outlet WBRZ, Woodard also told the undercover agent that he had watched pornography involving children of all ages, “including babies.”

Norwegian University Required Students to Attend Fetish Club, Dress in “Rubber”

The sexology department at a Norwegian university headed by a trans-identified male and his wife prompted backlash after requiring students to participate in a fetish club as part of their research.

Tonje Kristin Jensen, a student at the University of Agder, told the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation that she decided to forego a study trip in Oslo after receiving a letter providing a required dress code that included fetish gear on the theme of “lacquer and rubber.”

The memo encouraged students to attend in erotic clothes, such as lace and thigh-high stockings. It wrote: “We have a dress code which relates to rubber, lacquer, leather, and the like. Or one can choose the erotic dress code, where lace, corsets and the like dominate. Girls can also not wear denim.” Jensen responded by saying, “I think the natural thing in this situation was that everyone should have been able to participate, on their own terms. If I wanted to go with my clothes, then I should have been able to do it.”

The university trip was planned for a fetish club called Cat People in Oslo. On its Facebook page, the club features several sexualized photos of women in bondage.

Trans-identified male Professor Emerit Esben Esther Pirelli Benestad, along with spouse and co-professor Elsa Almås, have been course coordinators and “central to the implementation of the study programme,” at the University of Agder, according to its website. The sexology courses instruct students on “trans-sexuality, transvestism, and other variations of gender identity” alongside sadomasochism and fetishism.

Benestad uses hir or they pronouns, and in addition to working as a professor of sexology at the University of Agder, also provides family therapy. In Benestad’s TED talk, published December 11, he says he began dressing “like a girl” in secret as a child and sighs, declaring, “It felt so fine.”

Benestad compares himself to indigenous people, saying, “I belong to an indigenous people. At all times we have been here, but we never had any land.”

Benestad goes on to claim that he, along with his wife, coined the term “gender-affirming treatment” as well as the expression “gender euphoria,” a term often used in online forums such as Reddit in the context of sexual arousal. Benestad also states in his TED talk that “as for sex organs… there are more options than two.”

Benestad’s spouse and co-professor, Elsa Almås, is the founder of the Norwegian Association for Clinical Sexology (NFKS). A July 25 Facebook post by NFKS celebrated “world BDSM day,” which it claims falls on July 24 as a play on 24/7, “a type of BDSM game where you are in the roles mostly all the time.”

The NFKS delivered a consultation response on a proposed bill to ban conversion therapy arguing that “there should not be an age limit, but a ban on all attempts to influence another person’s gender identity with the aim of change.”

In 2017, Benestad and Almås published an article in the Journal of Sexual Medicine titled, Autogynephilia and Autoandrophilia Revisited, which argues that the sexual arousal men experience through transvestic crossdressing should be normalized, and “interpreted not as an underlying paraphilia that is the primary motivation for becoming a woman/man (because the person is turned on by the image of oneself as a woman/man), but as a learned erotic variation that is natural in persons who are attracted to women/men, and to persons who experience the erotic qualities of womens’/mens’ garments.”

Almås is also a member of the Gender Dysphoria Affirmative Working Group [GDA], an organization that campaigns for the social and medical transitioning of minors.

On its official website, the GDA quotes pornographer and trans-identified male Zinnia Jones, who in 2018 tweeted, “If TERFs are going to get into slut-shaming trans women I feel like they really need to get up to speed because they have no idea how fucked up we really are. Furry porn? Mommy stuff? How about fisting, prolapses, enemas, huge insertions, gangbangs.”

On another occasion, Jones tweeted: “Literally 100% of trans people could be convicted rapists and that still doesn’t actually justify excluding us from the proper restroom.” Jones had also called for respecting Adolf Hitler’s gender identity in the hypothetical event he were transgender.

In 2018, The World Health Organization (WHO) removed Fetishism, Transvestic Fetishism and Sadomasochism as psychiatric diagnoses in response to lobbying by Norwegian group FRI.

The work to remove sadomasochism and fetish diagnoses was the Norwegian organization’s goal since 1996. The new classification defines Fetishism, Fetishistic Transvestism and Sadomasochism as variants in sexual arousal, in direct contradiction with research that has consistently correlated sadism with violence, including homicide.

Some research suggests that as much as 50% of sexual killers are sexually sadistic, and even higher rates have been found in serial sexual killers.

Trans Child Rapist Used in Articles Pushing Prison Self-ID

[This article is an import of the author’s work from a different platform. This article is dated to reflect the time of its original publication, which occurred prior to the establishment of Reduxx]

A Kansas man who sexually abused a 14 year-old girl was featured in sympathetic articles decrying the hardships faced by trans-identified inmates in prison.

Rayne Bennett, formerly known as Jacob Lawrence Pina, was convicted in 2016 of indecent liberties with a child and was placed on a sex offender registry for 25 years. According to the 2016 KSN News coverage on the attack, Bennett forcibly imprisoned the girl at his residence and raped her.

Bennett was detained, then released while awaiting trial, likely on bail. It was at this time that he began claiming a transgender identity and adopted the alias Rayne Aloysius Constantine Rose Bennett.

Upon conviction, Bennett was placed in a men’s facility. He then sought out a behavioral health professional and a diagnosis for gender dysphoria in order to secure a transfer to a women’s institution, but was rejected by prison medical staff who did not believe he was transgender.

In a number of new articles on trans-identified male inmates in women’s prisons, Bennett was utilized as a source to decry the hardships faced by trans inmates in Kansas. On January 6th, Bennett was profiled in the Kansas City branch of NPR. On the 9th, he was sourced for a similar article in The Topeka Capitol-Journal. And then on the 12th, the Levenworth Times also wrote on Bennett.

Bennett was given platform to complain about poor treatment by Kansas correctional staff, and frame a narrative in which males should be allowed to transfer into women’s institutions based on self-identification.

Bennett claimed he filed multiple complaints against prison staff for misconduct, including misgendering, but Kansas Department of Corrections denies having copies of any such complaints filed.

Bennett told news outlet The Topeka Capitol-Journal that since he began claiming a female identity and taking hormones, “not only are the looks different, the personality is dramatically different.”

In all instances, media referred to Bennett by “she/her” pronouns, and in none of the articles was his past history of child sexual abuse mentioned.

USA Today Cites Prostasia Figure for Pedophilia Article

USA Today is under fire after publishing an article which appeared to suggest that the belief that pedophiles are a danger to children is based in “misconceptions.” Utilized in the article as a source for those claims is a psychologist who has affiliations to pedophile-sympathetic charity Prostasia.

Published on January 10th, the article inciting backlash was initially titled “What the Public Keeps Getting Wrong About Pedophilia.” After a wave of concern about the sympathetic nature of the piece, the outlet hastily changed the headline of the article to “The Complicated Research Behind Pedophilia.”

Initially, the article had also been accompanied by a thread on USA Today Life’s official Twitter, one which asserted that pedophilia was innate, and attempted to distance the word “pedophile” from being synonymous with “child sexual abuse.”

Along with the original headline, the thread was quickly deleted, and USA Today immediately went into damage control to try and quell the outrage, publishing a multi-part thread attempting to explain the original posts, which the outlet claimed “lacked context.”

But while many netizens rightfully directed their ire towards the headline and the outlet’s original posts, many glossed over the fact that the gushing article relied heavily upon information provided Dr. James Cantor – a Canadian psychologist known to work with pedophilia-sympathetic ‘charity’ Prostasia.

Reduxx has done extensive investigations into Prostasia in the past, finding that the organization condemns anti-pedophile sentiment as harmful “Nazi-like” rhetoric which requires mass censorship across social media.

The organization’s efforts have dedicated themselves to crusades against child pornography bans, letter-writing campaigns to state representatives demandingchild-likeness sex dolls be legalized, and funding research into “fantasy sexual outlets” for pedophiles.

Cantor is prominently featured on Prostasia’s official site with a dedicated profile.

Prostasia claims pedophilia is no different than any other sexuality, a sentiment shared by Cantor on his personal Twitter account. In 2018, Cantor sparked backlash for suggesting pedophilia be added to the LGBT spectrum.

In response to a post by Virtuous Pedophiles – an organization of adults who admit they have a sexual attraction to children but claim to be ‘chaste’ – Cantor wrote: “Speaking as a gay [man], I believe we SHOULD include the P. To do otherwise is to betray the principles that give us our rights.”

In another one of its campaigns, Prostasia argued against the necessity of the sex offender registry, and published multiple articles against the tracking of convicted sex offenders written by another one of its contributors, Guy Hamilton-Smith.

Hamilton-Smith, a lawyer in the state of Kentucky, wrote several times for the Prostasia blog that measures to keep registered sex offenders away from children, such as school-zone bans, were ineffective and unnecessary.

A quick search in the publicly available database of registered sex offenders found that Guy Hamilton-Smith has previously been convicted of possession of child sexual abuse material.

The USA Today article also makes reference to Allyn Walker, the now-former Old Dominion University instructor who recently resigned from her post after sparking backlash for defending “minor attraction.” The article states that there is growing support for Walker’s perspective that the better treatment and destigmatization of pedophiles would prevent offending.

Walker’s PhD thesis included apparent support for exploring the possibility of supplying pedophiles with “ethical” child pornography.

Violent Trans-Identified Criminal to Run for Office in UK

Sarah Jane Baker, England’s longest-serving trans-identified prisoner, has stated his intention to run for public office in a bid to become the first transgender Member of Parliament.

Previously known as Alan Baker, the 52 year-old spent 30 years in prison for attempting to murder another prisoner after being previously convicted for kidnapping and torturing his stepmother’s brother.

Baker told Southwark News that he aims to stand for election to the Richmond Park seat. “I want a seat at the big table, if I am to make the changes I want,” he said. The news outlet referred to Baker as a “woman” throughout and highlights his ‘dedication’ to the prison abolition movement since being released in 2019.

Last June, Baker was photographed at London’s Pride Parade holding signs which read, “Be Trans, Do Crime”. A sign in an identical style – red spray paint – that read, “Kill JK Rowling” was placed on the Bomber Command Memorial, prompting speculation that Baker was responsible for the death threat.

In 2013 Baker made headlines when he began identifying as “Sarah” and costing taxpayers £10,000 for what media referred to as a “sex change”. Baker once boasted that he never wanted to be freed, describing himself as a “professional prisoner.”

During a 2009 hearing, he stated: “I am happy to be locked away. Doing bird is the one thing I excel at. I have no responsibility, free food, laundry, healthcare, a job and my Open University course costs me nothing.”

Baker has published a book titled Transgender Behind Prison Walls which provides “a range of support mechanisms” and legal information for male inmates on how to gain advantages by declaring themselves to be women.

Canadian Bar Association Demanded “No Exception” To Male Transfers to Women’s prisons

The Canadian Bar Association had issued a series of recommendations and directives to the Correctional Service of Canada demanding violent male criminals be accommodated in women’s prisons, and to ensure their biological sex is never recorded.

In a letter dated December 4, 2020 the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) denounced a draft proposal by the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) that they claim was not lax enough in its treatment and transfer of trans-identified prisoners. The CSC Commissioner’s Directive currently takes into consideration operative status and any overriding safety concerns for staff and other inmates in the movement of trans-identified inmates, but the CBA claimed those policies were discriminatory.

“In our view, [Commissioner’s Directive 100] is based on the incorrect assumption that people are fundamentally men or women (or intersex) based on biology at birth,” the CBA writes, “we recommend that the policy be based on the assumption that people have the right to be placed in institutions that reflect their gender identity if that is their choice.”

The CBA goes on to suggest that almost no health or safety concerns be taken into consideration in most cases, including in transfers and double-bunking. On page 4 of the letter, the CBA writes that transfers should be made “without exception.”

“We recommend that CSC implement a policy of gender identity placement if that is the preference, without exception. In practice, the application of this exception has led to some trans women being denied placement at women’s prisons based on risk speculation.”

The letter asserts that trans prisoners are at “higher risk” of violence than non-trans inmates, and that their safety and comfort should take paramount above all other considerations. On page 4, the CBA seems to argue that behaviourally difficult trans inmates may be experiencing “institutional adjustment” that may resolve if they were moved to a lower security institution.

Going even further, the CBA recommends that a prisoner’s biological sex never be recorded or maintained. On page 3 of the letter, the CBA states that it does “not find it appropriate to record an individual’s sex in the Offender Management System (OMS), or to expect prisoners to disclose their sex or gender.”

The letter was issued on behalf of the CBA and its 36,000 members, which includes lawyers, notaries, academics and law students. In 2009, the CBA established a Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Community section (SOGIC) which focused exclusively on issues pertaining to “LGBTQ2SI+” legal matters. The 200-member SOGIC section has since been responsible for a number of controversial trans activist pushes, including crafting a pronoun policy in British Columbia courts which required all lawyers to declare their pronouns.

One prominent lead of SOGIC is non-binary lawyer Adrienne Smith, who most infamously demonstrated support for Jonathan/Jessica Yaniv — a trans-identified male who made waves after targeting female Muslim and Sikh immigrant salon workers with demands they provide genital waxing services to him. When the women would demonstrate religious hesitation to do so, Yaniv would launch lawsuits and campaigns of racist abuse against their businesses.

“Secretive” Sexualities Club at Elementary School Raising Parent Concerns

Parents of students at Raleigh Hills Elementary School in Beaverton, Oregon are expressing frustration over the establishment of a new “gender and sexualities” club for fourth and fifth graders aged 9 to 11 years old.

Concerns were raised at a January 18 virtual school board meeting where parents asked the necessity and appropriateness of the club, which was started at the beginning of January. Multiple parents noted that they had not been informed about the club’s existence, nor were they invited to provide input.

“These kids are far too young to be learning about this subject at school,” one parent said during the meeting, asserting that parents should be responsible for educating their children on “different lifestyles.”

According to school board officials, the club was created by two fifth-grade students who identify as transgender and is a student-run, non-staff facilitated venture. But one parent, Jeanette Schade, challenged that narrative, noting that she had received indications from school documents that teachers had been working to keep the club “secretive” and actively avoid divulging its existence to parents.

“You cannot tell me that this club is being run by students. This club is very clearly directed by staff.”

Schade is a former educator who runs a community organization called Build Back Basics in Education. She says she filed a public records request for information related to the club at the school, and found several teachers were involved and had planned its creation in November of 2021.

Following Schade’s comments, another parent wearing a rainbow-flag scarf was invited to speak. Elessia Buddress stated her daughter was in a leadership role within the sexualities club, and called parents opposed or concerned about the club’s existence “homophobic, transphobic, [and] queerphobic.”

Since its inception just two weeks ago, the club has apparently gained over 40 members at the school — almost 8% of its total student body.
