A man who identifies as transgender has been convicted of committing a rape just weeks after his release from prison for child sex offenses. Lexi-Rose Crawford, 24, had previously been given a four-year sentence for raping an underage girl that he groomed online.
Appearing in Bristol Crown Court on March 10, Crawford initially claimed to have been suffering “blackouts,” and said he could not recall the sexual assaults. Disturbingly, the formal indictment used in court referred to Crawford’s genitalia as “her penis,” according to The Daily Mail.
Despite Crawford’s plea of ignorance to his own crimes, the jury found him guilty of rape and sexual assault after less than two hours of deliberations. Crawford’s victim cannot be named for legal reasons, but is known to be particularly vulnerable. She told the court that Crawford came to their home in April 2019 to play computer games.
Describing the attack, the victim stated that Crawford had attempted to have her lay next to him before forcing himself on her.
“[Crawford] wanted me to lie down next to [him] and then tried to start… cuddling me, which I don’t feel comfortable with anyway. And then [he] started removing my clothes, which I didn’t want,” the victim said in court.
Despite repeated protests, Crawford removed the victim’s clothing and raped her. When asked why she didn’t fight back more aggressively, she said: “What could I have done without using physical contact to stop [him]? And then that could have been me in the wrong by using physical contact to stop [him].”
Responding to Crawford’s statements that he suffered from a lapse of memory, Prosecutor David Scutt pointed out that he had no medical basis to support this, and called the claim a “convenient excuse.”
Scutt asked Crawford point-blank: “It appears you can remember the good stuff, but you cannot remember the bad stuff. Are you pretending that you can’t remember?”
Following the guilty verdict, Crawford was released on conditional bail until his sentencing on May 10. He was referred to with feminine pronouns throughout the trial, and was addressed as “Miss” by lawyers and Judge Michael Longman throughout the four days of proceedings.
This is not Crawford’s first time being convicted of a grisly sexual attack on a vulnerable victim.
In 2017, Crawford was jailed after raping a teen girl he had met on the internet and groomed into his trust. At the time, Crawford was 18 and his victim was a 15-year-old girl he had met online. After developing a relationship, Crawford took the girl to a secluded area in the woods. Just before he assaulted her, he told the girl: “You are going to get laid.”
Following his release from prison in 2019, Crawford began using a female name and feminine pronouns. Just weeks later, he committed his latest sexual attack.
Should Crawford be handed a custodial sentence, it is believed he will be placed in a men’s prison as a result of recent prison policy reforms in the UK with respect to the handling of transgender prisoners.
On February 27, the Ministry of Justice and Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service announced new guidance for housing male prisoners who claim to identify as women. The updated framework states that “transgender women offenders no longer housed in women’s prisons if they have male genitalia or have committed sex crimes.”
The decision was made after ongoing controversy surrounding male sex offenders identifying as “women” and then demanding transfer into the female prison estate. In the month of January, four male sexual predators made headlines after identifying as women and either requesting of transfer to a women’s prison or being granted a move. The most notable case involved Adam Graham, 31, who began claiming to be a woman called Isla Bryson after he was charged with raping two women. Like Crawford, Graham was referred to with feminine pronouns both in the court and in UK media coverage, and court documents had charged Graham with raping the women with “her penis.”
Graham was found guilty of rape in both cases, and was initially green-lit to be held in a women’s prison for up to a month while awaiting sentencing. But the approval was short-lived after the incident sparked international outcry that led to the involvement of Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. Sturgeon was ridiculed by critics and journalists for her refusal to call Graham a man, and, in February, announced that she would be resigning from her post. Sturgeon will remain as First Minister until a successor has been elected.

A popular TikTok comedian has reported that she received a disturbing threat against her family following a series of videos she posted criticizing non-binary activist Jeffery Marsh for allegedly inviting minors to communicate with him privately.
On March 12, Shumirun Nessa, known by her TikTok handle @therealoverloadcomedy, shared a video with her 7 million followers stating that she had received an email from someone threatening both her and her children. Teary-eyed and distressed, Nessa explained how she was particularly frightened because the email contained intimate details on her location, her children, and her children’s daily school routine.
“They had given the school details and everything,” Nessa explained in the TikTok video, noting that it wasn’t coincidence due to the amount of information the sender had on both of her daughters.
“Please don’t come to my house,” Nessa begged the harassers before apologizing for posting about Marsh. “Please don’t come for my kids,” she said again.
In her emotional video, Nessa explained how multiple trans activists have been waging a harassment campaign against her and her family. Nessa, who is Muslim, stated that one of the harassers had found an old photo of her without her hijab and posted it on TikTok.
Nessa has also deleted all of the videos she made on non-binary activist Marsh, pleading for an end to the harassment campaign she has been experiencing.
These most recent threats against Nessa are just the latest escalation following a series of videos she did criticizing Marsh’s content. In her first video on the subject, dated February 22, Nessa took issue with Marsh’s “therapeutic services,” some of which appear to be geared towards minors. In multiple videos, Marsh speaks directly “to the kids,” and often lashes out at families who don’t sufficiently affirm their children’s gender identity or sexuality. Marsh has drawn criticism in the past for telling his audience to go “no contact” with their families, and has repeatedly encouraged some to accept that their “parents screwed up.”
But what has drawn the most criticism has been Marsh’s use of Patreon to initiate private communications with his audience. For just $6 per month, subscribers to Marsh’s Patreon are invited to a “private community” which has direct engagement with Marsh.
Nessa first drew trans activist ire after taking issue with this method, humorously telling Marsh to “stop telling kids to go on your Patreon and chat to you privately without their parents knowing.” Despite it being a very mild criticism, Nessa was hit with an outrage campaign from furious trans activists who branded her “transphobic” for telling Marsh to stay away from children. Nessa would later follow her first video up with a few more showing examples of Marsh speaking directly to minors in his videos, a claim the activists initially claimed Nessa had fabricated.
Many trans activists also slammed Nessa for “wrongfully” implying Marsh was grooming children and accusing her of putting his life in danger. On TikTok, Nessa was hit with a wave of racist and sexist abuse, with some commenters calling her a “token for white supremacists” despite being a Muslim woman of Bangladeshi heritage.
Nessa made a few more videos on Marsh, at first standing firm by her stance that it was inappropriate for an adult to be speaking to other people’s children. But on March 3, Nessa reported that her car had been vandalized in apparent retaliation for her opinion on Marsh.
All of Nessa’s videos on Marsh have since been deleted as the creator stated she did not want to draw further abuse towards her and her family.
Nessa is not the first to criticize Marsh for his behavior towards minors on social media. Earlier this month, one woman claimed that her child’s school had sent an email to parents warning them of his content, ostensibly due to him inviting his audience to engage in private communications with him.
As a result of his often-negative spin on families and parents, some social media users have branded Marsh a “groomer” and “creepy.”
Marsh’s videos have been featured on Twitter account @libsoftiktok and have even made it to Tucker Carlson’s popular program. Conservative influencer Matt Walsh has similarly called Marsh a “cult groomer” and a “professional groomer” on his Daily Wire show, yet none of the people calling Marsh out seem to have received as much backlash as Nessa, a mother who lives in England with her children.
Despite the onslaught of abuse, many women have taken to social media to support Nessa. As well as racking up nearly 350,000 likes on TikTok, her video has been reposted on Twitter numerous times by users outraged about what is happening to her family.
Afte her video went viral, many users began tweeting with the hashtag #IStandWithShumirunNessa to express their support.
“Jeffrey Marsh, as we can see by his online content, is a deeply disturbing man. @shumirunnessa pointed this out. For this, she has received threats with details of her children’s schools. Her car has been damaged. Marsh and supporters are misogynists. #IStandWithShumirunNessa,” tweeted feminist author Julie Bindel.
Another user, Louise Woodward-Styles, created a series of digital art for people to share featuring a photo of Nessa with the words “She Speaks For Me” and the hashtag.
“It’s as obvious as the nose on your face that Jeffrey Marsh’s content, in particular the stuff about ‘going no contact’ with parents, raises huge child protection concerns. For pointing this out, @shumirunnessa and her family have been threatened. #IStandWithShumirunNessa,” tweeted author Milli Hill.
Nessa is not the first woman to receive backlash for expressing views critical of trans activism or gender ideology, especially where its impact on children is concerned.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling has been the subject of immense abuse after taking a stance in support of women’s rights and against the medical transitioning of young people. For her positions, Rowling has received multiple brazen death threats, including from an Irish activist who threatened her with a pipe bomb, and, most recently, from a Scottish man who expressed his desire to bludgeon her to death with a hammer.
In February, Reduxx reported on the case of a mother who was threatened with arrest after attempting to protect her child from what she perceived to be a predatory man in the women’s changing area at the Aquatic Centre in Nanaimo, Canada.
Janayh Wright, a photographer and mother of three, spoke to Reduxx about her encounter with the man, one she says she had heard about from other parents before interacting with herself. On February 3, Wright says she was in the women’s locker rooms with her young daughter when she witnessed the man peep under the stall into the one where her child was getting undressed.
Wright immediately confronted the man, pulling him out of the changing room and telling him he should not be trying to watch young girls change.
Despite acting out of a desire to protect her child, Aquatic Centre staff threatened to have Wright arrested for removing the man from the changing room. Wright then called the police herself and reported the incident, which is still under investigation.

Maine’s Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) sent child protection agents to investigate two mothers who had complained about the social worker at their children’s school, with one of the mother’s stating he had provided her daughter a breast binder in “secret.”
Social worker Samuel Roy, 26, began working at Great Salt Bay Community School (GSBCS) in Damariscotta, Maine in October of 2022. The Maine Wire revealed that Roy only had a conditional license to practice social work but was hired by the school regardless of this.
One mother, Amber Lavigne, filed an official complaint against Roy on December 8 after learning that he had provided her 13-year-old daughter with breast binders and encouraged her to keep the items a secret from her parents.
Breast binders are extremely tight pieces of compression garments intended to flatten the appearance of a girl’s chest. They have been linked to many health risks, including chest and back pain, rib fractures, skin damage, overheating, and breathing problems. The garments are often used by young girls who identify as non-binary or transgender to conceal their secondary sex characteristics.
Four days after Lavigne filed her complaint about Roy and the binder he had provided her daughter, a case worker from Maine’s Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) arrived to initiate an investigation into her for the “allegation” that she had engaged in “Emotional Abuse – Low/Moderate Severity.”
But Lavigne was not the only mother targeted. Another, Amanda Merritt, learned about Lavigne’s situation that same month and decided she did not want her 8-year-old male child to be counseled by Roy. She had been told by Roy that her son was experiencing suicidal ideation, and the counselor presented conflicting statements about the boy’s mental state.
Merritt called school Principal Kim Schaff in December and asked that her son receive a different counselor. Days later, a child welfare case worker from OCFS arrived on Merritt’s doorstep.
The investigations against Lavigne and Merritt have both been declared closed, thereby legally allowing them to speak publicly about their cases. But prior to being cleared of any wrongdoing towards their own children, the mothers feared that “publicly criticizing the school or government officials might lead OCFS to further retaliate by taking unjustified adverse action against them while their cases were open.”
Lavigne and Merritt both believe they were investigated by child protection agents as an act of “politically motivated harassment.” They claim their children’s school district was retaliating against them because they expressed resistance to the “gender-affirming care” being provided to their children, and spoke out against the school’s social worker.
Lavigne also said that the school district had been complicit in what Roy was doing to her daughter, with school staff referring to the child using masculine pronouns without her mother’s knowledge.
Roy had only been seeing the Lavigne’s daughter for two weeks when he gave the girl, who had just turned 13, the breast binder. Lavigne says she was unaware her daughter had switched school social workers in October and had never met Roy before.
Despite working for the school in a social worker capacity, Roy has yet to even receive his Master’s degree from the University of Maine at Orono.
Lavigne first brought the incident to light in mid-December when she went before the school board at a public meeting and explained what had happened to her daughter.
Parental rights advocate Shawn McBreairty posted the video of Lavigne, emotional, sharing her story to a panel of of board officials who seemed uninterested in her.
Speaking before the unmoved school board panel, Lavigne shared: “A social worker at the school encouraged a student to keep a secret from her parents,” she said. “This is the very definition of child predatory sexual grooming,” she said. “Predators work to gain a victims’ trust by driving a wedge between them and their parents.”
The impassioned mother also noted that in addition to laws and policies being broken, so had been parental trust she should have had in her daughter’s school. She added, “No other parent should have to go through the trauma and distress this has caused my family.”
Following Lavigne’s testimony, fourth-grade teacher Chris Coleman portrayed her sincere concerns and distress as an “attack on students.” Coleman accused Lavigne of putting “transgender students’” safety at risk, and suggested Lavigne had “decided that our transgender students do not deserve to feel safe at school.”
Shortly after the December school board meeting, The Maine Wire editor Steve Robinson, who has been extensively reporting on the case for months, revealed that the school had begun selectively deleting their social media activity as well as information on their website. In particular, a section of the school’s website that provided contact information for staff members was scrubbed following the new reports. It was also reported that both Coleman and Roy had deleted their social media accounts following the public reports and national attention on the case.
While Great Salt Bay Community School has yet to take disciplinary action against Roy or any other involved parties, their public policy alleges that staff are prohibited from “asking a student to keep a secret.”
The school also has a conflicting policy regarding the accommodations for “transgender students,” which explicitly stated that any plans developed by the school must be done in consultation with a student’s parents or guardians.
Five days after Lavigne appeared at the board meeting, the Superintendent of the District Lynsey Johnston and board chair Samuel Belknap II issued a statement to the community suggesting the concerned parent had been divisive.
Pieces from the statement read: “The Board is aware that rumors and allegations have been published and republished on various social media platforms relating to this issue … While it is unfortunate that some individuals have sought to use this issue to try and divide our community, as a Board, we are committed not only to following Maine law but also honoring our school’s core values, and focusing on treating each other with dignity and respect.”
During another school board meeting held on January 11, Belknap, who can been seen in recordings of board meetings appearing indifferent and impatient with members of the public, announced that “no public speaker would be allowed to complain about or make allegations against any school employee.” Belknap threatened to involve law enforcement if anyone violated his terms.
In the letter, the school board also claimed that public knowledge of what had happened to Lavigne and Merritt’s children had “directly” led to bomb threats against the school. The first bomb threat was allegedly made on December 21, 2022, a week after Lavigne gave her testimony at a public school board meeting.
Shelton is demanding that the school board investigate Roy’s actions and is calling on the school “to inform parents of any decision that affects their children’s mental health or physical wellbeing,” including any attempts to “socially transition” children or, more specifically, provide them with chest binders.
The Maine Wire submitted a Freedom of Access Act (FOAA) request for public records to the school district in order to seek documents “that might shed light on how the school handled an apparent violation of its policies.”
The request reportedly “sought records from Oct. 1 to Dec. 18 that mentioned ‘binder’ or concerned Lavigne’s allegations.” Superintendent Johnston exploited the FOAA’s fee provision and asked for exorbitant fees totaling $1,075 in exchange for the information.
The Main Wire explained that this tactic “is especially common” when it is believed that the journalists seeking information have “an adversarial viewpoint or when disclosing the records would prove inconvenient or embarrassing for a government agency.”
After a more narrowed request, which only cost $150, The Maine Wire obtained 189 pages of documents from Johnston. The documents revealed that school board members, led by Belknap, “took steps to avoid communicating with reporters, with Lavigne, or in a format that would be available to journalists seeking public records after Lavigne expressed her concerns privately.”
Lavigne has expressed that she believes she was investigated by child welfare officers “at the direction of school officials” due to her filed complaint against Roy. Parental rights advocates share concerns about this trend in public education to criminalize parents who are opposed to private and gender-related counseling.
Following the national media attention on the case and the existence of cases similar to Lavigne and her daughter’s, Representative Katrina Smith (R-Palermo) introduced a bill which would “require parental approval before school employees begin social transitioning the gender of a student.” The bill is named LD 678, also known as “An Act to Require Parental Approval for Public School Employees to Use a Name or Pronoun Other than a Child’s Given Name or Pronoun Corresponding to the Gender on the Child’s Birth Certificate.”
Lawmakers in Maine are also considering whether to pass a major policy change which applies to the Maine Department of Education known as Chapter 117, a controversial rule that, if passed, will allow school social workers to provide minors with “psychosocial evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and emotional disorders.”
Sage Lily Blair, a teen girl from the small community of Appomattox, Virginia, was taken away from her parents after school counselors testified that their alleged “misgendering” of their daughter amounted to child abuse. At the time, Sage had just been located by the FBI after going missing for over a week, having run away from home after her school secretly encouraged her to “socially transition.” While away from her family, Sage had been subjected to sexual abuse.
But despite the teen’s terrifying experience, a public defender fought to have Sage removed from her parent’s care and placed into the boy’s ward of a children’s home in Maryland after she was located — Something which would lead Sage to be sexually abused again while in state care.
Sage’s mother, Michele, provided Reduxx with a number of documents related to the ordeal, some of which attempt to paint their lack of “gender affirmation” as child abuse. Sage would later tell her mother that the lawyer had coached her to say that her parents were abusive because they wouldn’t accept her as a transgender boy.
The young girl would ultimately be kept away from her loving family for almost one year before they were reunited, her mother fighting day in and day out to get her daughter back home. Sage has since “detransitioned,” meaning she no longer identifies as a boy.
In response to the experience of the Blair family, Republican state representative Dave LaRock proposed a bill known as Sage’s Law that would require Virginia school officials to notify parents if their child identifies as transgender in school.
Under the law, which was approved by the Senate committee in February, school staff in Virginia who have direct contact with a student claiming a gender identity would be required to contact at least one of their parents to inquire if they are aware of the student’s mental state and to ask if the parent wishes to obtain counseling for them.

A trans-identified male is awaiting arraignment on charges of sexually abusing a baby while working at a daycare center.
Maria Childers, 25, had been employed at the Explore Learning Academy in Paducah, Kentucky when the abuse is said to have occurred last November. Police became involved in February of this year after the Kentucky Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) received an anonymous tip from someone working inside the academy.
According to a solitary local report on the incident, Childers had made inappropriate comments towards the infant while changing the child’s diaper, and had also touched the baby inappropriately. WPSD Local 6 avoided using pronouns for Childers.
A Paducah police officer and DCBS staffer went to Explore Learning Academy on February 8 and spoke with a witness who corroborated the details of the anonymous report. Police also interviewed the director of the Academy, who appeared to have been aware of Childers’ behavior with the baby, but had only given him a “write up” for making inappropriate comments towards the infant.
Childers was arrested the same day the report was investigated, and, during police questioning, he attempted to deny the accusations at first. He initially claimed he had not changed the infant’s diaper at all, but later admitted to having done so after the officer presented him with evidence in the form of a text that he had sent to the daycare’s director confirming the baby’s diaper had been changed. Childers then maintained that he had not made inappropriate comments or touched the baby sexually.
Childers has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 12, and is currently housed in the McCracken County Jail with a bond set at $100,000. According to the inmate roster, his sex has been recorded as male. He is expected in court for arraignment on March 23.
The alleged predator has a limited social media history, with a largely barren Facebook only showing photos of Childers wearing a blue costume dress similar in style to that commonly associated with the main character in classic children’s tale, Alice in Wonderland. Childers appears to be in a classroom in the photos taken, and there is a small child visible in one of the snaps also donning a costume.
According to his Facebook, Childers claims to have studied child development at The University of Arizona Global Campus, an online college which has come under accreditation concerns in recent years. A separate Facebook account also belonging to Childers has his gender listed as “female.”
Reduxx attempted to reach out to Explore Learning Academy for more details on Childers’ employment at the center, but was unable to reach a representative for comment.

Large sections of central Cardiff were shut down yesterday to accommodate a lavish funeral procession for a drag queen who was also a convicted child sex offender.
Cardiff City Council and South Wales Police shut down three busy roads in the city center for over one hour on Thursday to make room for a horse-drawn glass-walled carriage and mourners. Taxis, buses, and delivery vehicles were impacted, with those not involved in the cortege being told to vacate the area by 11:20 a.m and steer clear until 1 p.m local time.
The funeral belonged to Darren Moore, a local drag queen who had been found dead on the evening of Sunday, January 22, outside of a Cardiff bar. When found, Moore was wearing his full drag costume.
Police launched an investigation into Moore’s death, and subsequently arrested a 50-year-old man on charges of manslaughter. Following the murder, police had cautioned people against speculation, and have stated that there is no “obvious cause of death” that has yet been revealed or confirmed.
Moore had previously been convicted of four counts of rape on a boy under the age of 14 in 1999, according to past news coverage by the Sun.
As previously revealed by Reduxx, Moore was once known as Darren Sewell, and had spent 3 years in a Young Offenders’ Institution following his conviction. As a condition of his sentence, Moore was also handed a ban on having contact with children.
But in 2011, Moore was caught working with youth as a gymnastics and dance instructor and was convicted of breaching the lifetime order. He was sentenced to a three-year sex offender’s treatment program, a 24-month supervision order, 300 hours of community service, and a six-month curfew with an electronic tag.
Despite Moore’s conviction, he went on to become a popular drag queen in Cardiff, performing under the names Crystal Couture, CC Quinn and Dolly.
In 2018, Moore was booked to represent British Airways at a Pride Festival in Brighton. The company later had to distance themselves from him after his past conviction came to light, and clarified that part of the reason why they did not know was because of his name change. Two years later, Moore exhibited his hand-made drag jewelry at RuPaul’s Dragcon in London.
Moore was close friends with Sab Samuel, the founder and CEO Drag Queen Story Hour UK. Samuel performs under the drag name Aida H. Dee, and has been seen wearing Moore’s custom drag jewelry at events with children.
In January, following the announcement of Moore’s death, Samuel made multiple posts on his Facebook page mourning the loss of Moore.
Calling Moore an “an exuberant human being, taken from the world too early,” Samuel assisted in the fundraising efforts for Moore’s funeral by promoting the GoFundMe page made in his honor.
According to the GoFundMe page that had been promoted by Samuel, over £6,800 (approx. $8,200 USD) was raised to give Moore “the biggest send off,” more than doubling its initial goal.
The GoFundMe also suggested some of the money would be going to support Moore’s husband, who is also named Darren.
“If any of you have a bad word to say against my husband, then just go and crawl under the fucking stone you came from. Darren was the most kind-hearted person you could ever fucking meet. He didn’t have a bad bone in his body,” Moore’s husband said during the emotional livestream.
Very few media outlets have mentioned Moore’s history, with most simply referring to him as a “well-known drag artist.” The Daily Mail was one of the few exceptions after it identified Moore as having been a convicted child sex offender following the announcement of his sudden and unexplained death.
In their coverage of Moore’s funeral procession, Wales Online failed to mention his criminal history, and instead focused on the traffic considerations, and the flowers being set at his casket’s glass-walled carriage by mourners.

A Texas man who identifies as non-binary and transgender has been arrested and charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 6, two counts of sexual performance of a child under the age of 14, and two cases of possession with intent to promote child pornography.
Kelvin Alexander Dias, 23, was arrested on February 15 in relation to the horrific sexual abuse of a child. Dias, who identifies as non-binary and uses she/her pronouns, is accused of targeting a 5-year-old boy with autism.
According to Luke Beatty, chief of the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation division at the Harris County District Attorney’s office, the child being non-verbal is part of what motivated Dias to target him.
Beatty said Dias was caught after posting pornographic content of children to Twitter in paid exchanges.
“The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) learned that there was child pornography flowing through his Twitter account,” Beatty said. Authorities were then able to track down Dias based on his IP address. Dias reportedly admitted to creating and uploading the content.
Among the child sexual abuse materials shared on Twitter by Dias were images of the victim. Representatives from NCMEC contacted the child’s mother, who confirmed the child’s identity.
Dias appeared unbothered while being taken into custody. According to ABC13, he reportedly told arresting officers that he had been planning to leave the country.
Dias, orginally from Honduras, has been living in Houston for the past four years and worked as a housekeeper for two years. The child victim was a friend of the family that employed him.
Investigators are concerned there might be other victims out there.
Presiding judge Frank Aguilar set bond for Dias at $1.2 million at a hearing on February 20. He is currently in the custody of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
