Glamour Brazil Awards Male Influencer “Woman of the Year”

This week, Glamour Magazine‘s Brazil franchise announced the winners of its Generation Glamour event honoring women. Out of 15 categories, 2 of the female-focused awards went to trans-identified males — including Woman of the Year.

Linn da Quebrada, a male social media influencer, took home the top award despite the fact he has stated he does not identify as a woman, and does not believe women ‘exist.’

In an interview with presenter Pedro Bial, a journalist from Globo Television Network, Quebrada stated “I’m not a woman, I’m a transvestite,” going on to say: “let’s be honest, there’s no such thing as ‘a woman.'”

As a justification for his position, Quebrada continued by listing words that do not have finite meaning in the Portuguese language, and had to be “invented” to describe concepts so subjective that they could not be defined.

Linn De Quebrada

Quebrada sometimes refers to himself as an effeminate gay man, while at other times he uses feminine pronouns. Most commonly, Quebrada labels himself a “transvestite,” a word used in Brazil to identify men who present themselves in feminine ways but do not identify as transgender.

Quebrada came to widespread notoriety in his country after appearing as the first trans-identified person to participate in Big Brother Brazil. Following his appearance, Quebrada began to appear in Brazilian tabloids as a pseudo-celebrity, often pulling stunts for media attention.

Earlier this year, Quebrada did a Mother’s Day photoshoot in which he wore a fake pregnant belly. The social media influencer claimed he wanted to be a “mother” one day, and dreamed of getting pregnant.

Beyond his appearance on Big Brother Brazil, Quebrada has never been involved in activism, and speaks very sparsely on any topics related to women’s rights.

Quebrada was not the only male who took home a commendation in the Glamour event.

Giovanna Heliodoro won Glamour‘s Woman Influencer with a Cause award. Heliodoro identifies as a “feminist black trans woman,” and is known for his advocacy for trans causes in Brazil.

In December, Heliodoro, who has over 155,000 followers on Instagram, slammed JK Rowling after the Ink Black Heart author expressed concerns over self-identification’s impact on Scottish crime statistics.

“I’m sorry, but I have learned to hate everything that comes from transphobic JK Rowling. I can’t see Harry Potter the same way as before and I can’t even romanticize Fantastic Beasts!” Heliodoro wrote on social media.

In 2020, shortly after Rowling tweeted in support of Maya Forstater and the material reality of sex, Heliodoro threatened to “beat this bitch,” referring to Rowling.

Following the award show, Brazilian women took to social media to condemn Glamour for the awards they gave to the two men — but especially Woman of the Year.

Quebrada took to Instagram to shame those with criticisms, making a collage out of “hateful” comments he had received criticizing his eligibility for the award, most of which were simply noting that he was male and had previously rejected the label of “woman.”

On Twitter, even some fans of Quebrada were confused as to what he had done that was notable enough to warrant the award.

“I think Linn is an amazing and talented person, but honestly, woman of the year? What did she do that was so spectacular to have all this merit?” one user asked beneath an announcement of Quebrada’s award.

“Did they give it because [Quebrada] deserved it or did they just want to get people’s attention? She is woman of the year by what merit? Look at all the fighting women out there, I don’t know if I agree..but…” another user replied.

Quebrada and Heliodoro’s awards recall a recent controversy in which another well-known magazine named a trans-identified male pimp as one of Brazil’s top “Inspirational Women’s Rights Advocates.”

On December 20, 2021, Marie Claire Brazil posted a year-end slideshow to its Instagram featuring “7 women making a difference for human rights in Brazil.” The list was intended to feature female human rights activists, but emphasize those who specifically made an impact on the lives of other women.

The magazine’s 6th slot was given to Indianara Siqueira, a biological male prostitute who was convicted of aggravated pimping in France in 2007, and served a 3-year prison sentence in the country as a result.

Siqueira was expelled from Brazil’s Socialism and Liberty Party in 2019 after a stunt in which he “took over” a culturally significant building in São Paulo, and turned it into a squalid brothel in which transgender minors were reportedly sexually exploited.

Brazil is a hotbed of sex-based violence, with femicide rates increasing despite the country’s overall murder rate going down. According to the most recent data, four girls under the age of 13 are raped every hour in Brazil, with the majority of sexual violence victims being “shockingly young.”

Women’s rights movements appear to be falling flat in the country, which is now ranked among the most dangerous places in the world to be a woman. Brazil is seeing little political progress for sex-based rights, with the nation having an extremely low rate of female political representation.

In 2020, a trans-identified male politician elected to the São Paulo City Council was named the “most voted for woman” in Brazil.

GIRL, GONE: A “Trans Teen” Was Removed From Her Parent’s Care. Then She Was Sexually Abused.

Michele and Roger Blair first reported the disappearance of their teen daughter, Sage Lily Blair, to the Appomattox, Virginia Sheriff’s Office on August 25, 2021.

Sage, 14 years old at the time, had run away from home after experiencing intense bullying at her school stemming from a newly-adopted transgender identity. Sage, a female, had begun identifying as a boy.

Michele and Roger would soon discover that the public high school Sage had attended was secretly encouraging her “social transition,” and had been deliberately withholding information from her family. Sage had begun calling herself “Draco” while at school, and using masculine pronouns.

Sage’s parents first became aware of their daughter’s decision to identify as transgender when a teacher notified them of an incident report involving sexual harassment in the boy’s washroom and on the bus. Sage had tried to use the boy’s washroom as part of her “social transition,” and had faced a rape threat as a result.

But, according to her parents, Sage’s insistence she was transgender appeared to come from a dark place.

Michele, Sage’s mother, told Reduxx that she believes that her daughter was groomed online by adults who used the concept of a gender identity to get close to her, promising that they would be her new “family.” She says Sage had met the adults, who were posing as children, via Instagram and Snapchat.

Just over a week after running away from home, Sage was located by the FBI.

She had been sexually exploited by an adult man she had met over social media and who believed her to be 16. A Virginia man had picked her up and transported her to Washington, DC. When she arrived in DC, the two men took her to Maryland, telling her she’d be going to stay with their family. Upon arrival, Sage was sexually abused repeatedly.

On September 2, 2021, Sage was sent to a hospital for a rape exam, a process which, according to Michele, went well into the night and lasted until the early hours of the morning. The FBI instructed her parents to pick her up the following day at the Waxter Children’s Center, a girls’ detention facility in Laurel, Maryland.

But when Michele and Roger arrived at the detention center where their daughter was being held, they were told they would not be allowed to see their child.

“They [the state authorities] would not even let me talk, hug, or see her the day after she went through the rape exam,” Michele told Reduxx, and added that the experience was, “heartbreaking, to say the least.”

Instead, they were required to appear in court that same afternoon, as they were being investigated for child abuse over alleged “misgendering.”

Michele and Roger would later discover that the investigation had been requested by the public defender, who had contacted two school counselors to testify against them. The counselors would argue that Sage should not be returned to her home due to a lack of a sufficiently “gender affirming” environment.

“Upon my arrival I was told my granddaughter would not be allowed to return to Virginia,” Michele had stated in May. “Sage was now being represented by a juvenile attorney and my husband and I were going to be investigated for ‘abuse’ because my husband and I called her Sage and not Draco.”

Michele provided Reduxx with a number of documents related to the ordeal, some of which attempt to paint their lack of “gender affirmation” as child abuse.

“Sage now identified as a boy and the judge demanded we use the ‘he/him’ pronouns and call her Draco. Sage was being represented by an attorney whose actions from the beginning were unethical and unprofessional,” Michele explained.

Michele believes the juvenile defense attorney representing Sage in the abuse claim had convinced her daughter to assert that she had been mistreated by her parents. Sage would later tell her mother that the lawyer had coached her to say that her parents were abusive because they wouldn’t accept her as a transgender boy.

Pending the outcome of the investigation, Sage was initially held in juvenile detention. During a second hearing, Michele pleaded for her daughter to be placed in a more comfortable environment. Instead, the state transferred Sage to the boy’s ward of a Children’s Home in Maryland on September 6.

The only girl in a male unit, Sage was again sexually abused by boys in the Children’s Home and was relocated to a private room within the boys’ section.

It would take more than two months, and over a dozen court appointments, before Michele and Roger Blair would be cleared of the abuse allegations against them. The Blairs provided Reduxx with multiple documents substantiating that no abuse or abusive intent had been determined.

Despite granting Michele and Roger’s petition for custody, the state of Maryland did not immediately relinquish parental rights to Sage’s family.

Instead, the now 15-year-old girl, who had begun calling herself “Justin” instead of “Draco,” was sent to public school in Maryland and was required to wear a GPS tracking device.

On November 9, a Maryland judge finally ruled for the state to release Sage back to her family in Virginia. However, this decision was immediately appealed by the juvenile attorney representing the girl for the state who wanted Sage placed in a foster home, again on the basis of protecting her “gender identity,” bolstered by a claim of ostensibly abusive “misgendering.”

Three days later, Sage was reported missing for a second time.

“Sage had been sent by another predator from Maryland to Dallas, Texas,” Michele recounted. “This man held her there in a locked room and used her for pornography, sold her body for money, starved her, beat her, and drugged her.”

Local authorities, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and the FBI were all notified that the teen was missing. However, Michele said the authorities in Baltimore refused to approve a request from Texas police to track Sage’s phone on the basis that she wasn’t linked with any crime.

Ultimately, it was a tip from one of Sage’s Instagram friends led to her recovery. Using a photo sent to him by the teen, a Texas Marshall was able to ascertain her whereabouts.

The Blairs were finally reunited with Sage in Dallas on January 24, 2022.

Little more than two weeks later, Michele took her daughter to North Springs Behavioral Healthcare Center, a facility that specializes in the treatment of psychological distress and trauma in children and teens. Michele says that while an inpatient at the Center, counselors continued to try and “affirm” Sage’s “gender” despite the fact she said she no longer identified as a boy. Michele made 8-hour drives to visit her daughter every Saturday, though was only allowed to be with her for 2 hours per week.

On July 25, Sage was discharged from the rehabilitation clinic and at long last returned home.

Sage no longer identifies as transgender, and is to be happy and healthy with her family. Michele proudly showed Reduxx a photo of Sage having her ears pierced at her local mall for her birthday last week.

A recent photo of Sage, shared with consent from her mother.

“Sage is the apple of my eye. It has been a rollercoaster, but she is home,” Michele says. “What happened to her hasn’t really changed our love, but it has changed our relationship because we are getting to know each other on a different level because of the trauma.”

Michele says Sage had tried going to school, but the endeavor was too stressful.

“She loves running. Running is her coping mechanism. She had joined cross-country and she loved it, but, sadly, when she was running the trail she’d sometimes see men and that was too much of a trigger for her. So she quit.” Her last day of attempting to go to school, Michele says Sage couldn’t get out of the car — so she took her daughter home.

Michele explained to Reduxx that the county is processing paperwork in order to get Sage a home tutor so she can continue her studies in 10th grade.

Getting emotional, Michele describes that Sage has been struggling with her mental health.

“She has panic attacks and nightmares about this man. She struggles to breathe. In the middle of the night she will crawl into bed with me, which she hasn’t done since she was a little girl. It has been really hard. But she is strong.”

A 37-year-old man has been arrested and detained in Baltimore in relation to the case of Sage’s sexual abuse. According to Michele, Kenneth Edward Fisher is one of three predators who are awaiting a hearing on charges related to child sex trafficking. The names of the other two men have not yet been released.

As other youth were involved in the case, publicly-available information has been limited in order to protect the minor victims.

Michele and Sage are set to travel to Baltimore next week for the beginning of the trial. Lawyers with the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City and the Rebuild, Overcome, and Rise (ROAR) Center at University of Maryland are both involved in the case.

“The lawyers said we could [appear] over Zoom, but it was Sage who actually said she wanted to go. She said ‘I feel like I have to go.’ I asked her if she was sure, and she told me ‘I don’t want it to happen to any other kids, what happened to me.'”

Michele is hoping that the trial will be a turning point in Sage’s healing. She knows the road to recovery will be a long one, but has optimism that her daughter will make it through.

“I am an adult and can barely handle this anxiety, let alone a child. But we are getting through it, by the grace of God … It’s going to be okay. She’s home. I love her. And life goes on, one day at a time.”

No estaba tomando cocaína.

EXCLUSIVE: Feminist Arrested At Bar After Confronting Male In Women’s Washroom

A woman who was arrested after confronting a man using the women’s restrooms in a bar in Cardiff, Wales has come forward to speak with Reduxx about her experience.

Kate, whose name has been changed at her request to protect her anonymity, had been at attendance during the day at FiLiA 2022, an annual feminist conference held to address issues related to women’s sex-based rights. In the evening after the conference, Kate visited Heidi’s Bier Bar on Mill Lane with her friend, Dr EM, a well-known feminist writer and advocate for disabled women. A few other women from the conference had also joined them.

Kate told Reduxx that, after an evening of drinking with the women, she went to the washroom and noticed what she described as a man who looked like a “drag queen” standing in queue for the women’s toilets.

Immediately, Kate confronted the trans-identified male and asked him to leave the women’s restroom.

“I said, ‘you’re a man, you shouldn’t be in here,'” Kate explained, going on to describe that the man and some female patrons began shouting abuse at her. “When I was down there, there was absolutely no one supporting me.”

Kate says bar staff were then alerted, and, while she was still in the restroom, approached her and demanded she leave.

Kate provided phone camera footage for Reduxx to review of the initial interaction she had with bar staff. In the video, a female staff member with yellow-and-pink hair accuses Kate of having threatened violence against the trans-identified male, an allegation she adamantly denies.

“The man was a lot larger than me, so I don’t know why I would do that,” Kate said, “I just said ‘a man shouldn’t be in the women’s toilets.’ I wouldn’t threaten him.”

In the video, the pink-haired staff member is joined by a male staff member who also enters the women’s restroom where the interaction is taking place, something Kate immediately objects to.

At one point, the female staff member begins berating Kate about “misgendering” the trans-identified male after Kate continues to insist a man should not have been permitted to use the women’s restroom.

While Kate is reluctant to release the footage to the public due to the possibility of her being identified, Reduxx has transcribed a portion of the conversation she had with the female bar staff member here:

Kate: You came in and asked me to leave the venue because a man was in the women’s toilets.

Bar Staff: Oh? You mean the transgender woman?

Kate: A man.

Bar Staff: A transgender woman.

Kate: A man was in the toilets.

Bar Staff: It was a transgender woman.

Kate: A man. You know it’s a man!

Bar Staff: They are a transgender woman. You need to respect their pronouns and the fact that they have decided to alter their gender. You have tried to attack a transgender woman, that is a hate crime. You have just recorded yourself admitting to a hate crime.

The interaction continued, with bar staff first insisting Kate had threatened to physically harm the trans-identified male, before changing their claim and asserting she had already “tried to throw a punch.” Kate immediately objects to the suggestion she had been violent.

“I haven’t thrown a punch! Why would I throw a punch!” She is heard saying. The pink-haired staff member begins telling Kate to stop recording her, a request Kate refuses.

Kate: I will leave the venue, but I will record you. I am telling you right now that I have lived in Cardiff for 40 years, and I have never experienced people like you harassing me in women’s toilets.

Bar Staff: So you have harassed a transgender woman?

Kate: No, it was a man.

Bar Staff: It was a transgender woman.

Kate: It was a man. A man in the women’s toilets and that makes me really uncomfortable. I am a sexual assault survivor and

Bar Staff: So am I.

Kate: -I do not consent to men being in the women’s toilets.

Bar Staff: So, there wasn’t a male in the toilet, it was a transgender woman.

Speaking to Reduxx after reviewing the footage, Kate expressed bewilderment at the staff’s behavior.

While the interaction had occurred after Kate had consumed alcohol, there was no instance in the footage Reduxx reviewed during which Kate was abusive, violent, or otherwise aggressive in any way. She simply continued to insist a male should not have been allowed in the women’s restroom.

Kate recorded herself following bar staff out of the venue. When exiting the building, both the male and female bar staff began informing patrons sitting on the patio that Kate had been “homophobic” and “transphobic.”

Police arrived shortly after, at approximately 2 a.m. Upon arriving, they interviewed the trans-identified male and his friends, who insisted Kate had threatened them and that she was on cocaine.

“I am a 54 year old woman with two adult children. It’s Sunday night. I was not on cocaine. It’s so ludicrous,” Kate said. “They could have tested me, or given me a drug test — they didn’t. They searched me and took all of my belongings, I had no drugs. I only had a bar on soap in my pocket because I had been gifted soap.”

Kate says police began to interview bar staff, as well as the trans-identified male and his friends, at which point they decided to arrest her. She was placed in handcuffs, which she said were so large for her wrists that they were almost falling off of her.

Police were set to place Kate in a caged van, but she repeatedly insisted she was claustrophobic and did not want to be locked in such a small space. Conceding, she was placed in the back of the van. Dr. Em, Kate’s friend, came with her as an accompaniment.

“She was staying with me. I kept saying to them, ‘she’s staying with me, she’s got a brain injury. This is going to be really traumatic for her. Whatever you do you need to make sure she’s okay,'” Kate said, noting that she was still unaware of why, exactly she had been arrested.

After multiple hours, Kate was asked if she wanted to apologize to the trans-identified male, something police insisted would allow her to leave without incident.

“They said, ‘if you just apologize, then we can just leave all of this here and you can go home.’ I told them I was not going to apologize because I had not done anything wrong.”

Police reportedly consulted the trans-identified male who had been in the women’s restroom, and he declined to pursue any further investigation into the matter. Kate was told she was then “de-arrested” and was taken home.

Kate was not given any documentation related to her temporary detention, nor was she provided a reference number, charges, or anything else related to the situation.

The day of October 24, Kate says she visited the police station in search of answers. She demanded the name of the individual who had reported her to police, as she wanted to legally pursue him falsifying information about her in order to have her arrested. The police later said the reason for her arrest was on suspicion of a public order offense but that she was later de-arrested following the input of the alleged victim.

She was told she would get a call-back from the night shift with additional details, but did not hear anything further from South Wales Police.

Today, the arresting officer gave a statement to local media calling Kate and her friends “transphobic” for a vague article that was written without Kate’s input.

South Wales Inspector Grady stated: “At around 2 a.m. on Monday morning, South Wales Police received a report from a bar on Mill Lane in Cardiff city centre that a number of females were refusing to leave the premises after making transphobic comments and threats to a member of the public inside. The group were removed from the premises by door staff and a 54-year-old woman was arrested for a public order offence. She was de-arrested, as the victim did not want any further police action, and given suitable words of advice.”

Reduxx reached out to South Wales Police for comment, but has not received a response.

In the aftermath, Kate says she has been left “traumatized” by the situation, but does not want her experience to deter other women from speaking up.

“I feel really strongly that it is on all of us. We, women, need to say ‘no’ to men coming into our spaces. We need to say ‘no’ to children being given hormones. We need to say ‘no’ to all of it,” Kate says.

“If not you – who, if not now – when… men now think it’s okay to go in to women’s toilets, we have to speak up. We have got to make it uncomfortable for them.”

Kate is not the first woman in the United Kingdom to face legal consequences for speaking up in defense of women’s spaces or standing up for women’s rights.

In January of this year, a disabled woman in South Wales had her home searched and was subjected to police detention after being reported for committing a “transphobic hate crime” for putting up stickers raising awareness about domestic violence.

Earlier this month, Caroline Farrow, a mother of five who has been outspoken against gender ideology, had her house forced into by Surrey Police after her social media activity was reported as criminal.

Violent Transgender Killer Completes Sentence for Torture, Murder of 13-Year-Old Child

Content Warning: This article contains graphic details of a crime committed against a child. Reader discretion is appreciated.

A trans-identified male who brutally raped and tortured a little girl to death has completed his sentence and been fully released from New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision custody.

Synthia China Blast, born Luis Morales, was sentenced in 1996 for the horrific rape and murder of 13-year-old Ebony Nicole Williams. Blast, along with his boyfriend Carlos Franco, were sentenced to 25 years for the crime, one that had both sexist and racist motivation.

Blast and Franco, members of the Almighty Latin King and Queen Nation gang, targeted the young girl less than 24 hours after she had run away from home in 1993. Williams was known to sometimes run away from her home in Harlem, and her mother hadn’t initially suspected foul play when she didn’t show back up, assuming she was staying with extended family as she had done in the past.

The same day as Williams had run away, she was kidnapped by Blast and Franco, and taken to an apartment in Hunts Point where she was held captive. The men had likely recognized her from previous visits to the neighborhood she had made while looking for a place to stay with her older sister, and some accounts state that she had been targeted based on her race.

Blast repeatedly raped Williams, and he and Franco tortured the young girl further before stabbing her in an attempt to kill her. Realizing she was still alive after having been slashed by Blast, Franco then stomped on the child’s neck until it was broken.

Following her death, Blast and Franco packed the girl’s small body into a box and dumped it near the Sheridan Expressway. Finally, they doused the box in gasoline, and set it ablaze. A passenger on a nearby train saw the flames and called 911.

After extinguishing the fire, attending detective Sergeant Michael Garvey noted that there had been no means of identifying Williams as she was completely naked, and had been badly mutilated. “All I saw was that her hair had been worn in corn rows,” he said at the time of the investigation.

During the trial, Bronx Prosecutor William Hrabsky said of the crime: “The suffering that this poor child went through is beyond belief and puts this crime in the category of monstrous and barbarous.”

Despite pleading innocence in court and to media in later interview, Blast had reportedly “bragged” about committing the crime to friends, some of whom would later testify against him on this basis. Blast and Franco both received 25-to-life for the murder of Williams, but the rape charge was not pursued.

Blast reportedly suggested he avoided the rape conviction because of his gender identity and homosexual orientation.

“They had to switch their story in the trial because how do you tell the jury that he had on a dress and then he was raping a girl?” He is quoted as saying, claiming he had never had sexual intercourse with a female. But the determining factor was likely that DNA was unable to be recovered from Williams due to the state of her remains, which were so destroyed that she was only able to be identified through dental records.

During the trial, Blast and Franco were reportedly blasé about the crime they’d committed, and had even been laughing at times during the hearings. A statement given by Yvonne Hill, Williams’ mother, at the time of their sentencing condemned the two for their behavior throughout the process.

“Ever since the trial was going on, all I see is Luis Morales grinning and Carlos Franco, too,” Hill said, referring to Blast by the name he had used at the time. “You ain’t smiling today. I hope you both rot in hell.”

Following his detention, Blast became a noted advocate for incarcerated trans people’s rights, successfully demanding the state of New York provide him with feminizing hormones in 1999, and suing the state in 2003 after having been refused sex reassignment surgery.

Blast repeatedly became a media sensation for his sexual exploits while in custody, beginning a romantic relationship with Heriberto “Eddie” Seda, a convicted serial killer who had sought to murder one person of each zodiac sign as an homage to San Francisco’s infamous Zodiac Killer. Blast and Seda’s relationship was dotingly covered by New York Magazine in 2004, who even commissioned a portrait photograph of the couple.

“I met my friend, lover and infamous husband… the NYC Zodiac Serial Killer,” Blast told the New York Daily News. “My sweet serial killer is a lady’s man now. Only if I was a real woman I could bring about little future serial killers to terrorize NYC like my husband did. How [New Yorkers] would of loathed the Zodiac Children.”

Blast and Seda were ultimately separated from each other by the Department of Corrections.

In 2015, Jezebel published an article condemning Blast’s treatment while in prison, noting that he had been in involuntary protective custody (IPO), or solitary confinement, for almost two decades. The article followed a petition launched by the Sylvia Rivera Law Project (SLRP), a trans activist legal organization, which sought to pressure New York State into releasing Blast from IPO. The SLRP had, at one point, used Orange is the New Black actor Laverne Cox to speak on Blast’s behalf.

The Jezebel article slammed “trans-exclusionary” feminist Cathy Brennan for calling Blast a “man who now identifies as a woman,” and glossed over the details of Blast’s crime in favor of giving him a platform to claim innocence.

Blast was similarly profiled in a 2017 VICE article in which he called for trans-identified males to be housed with women.

According to the New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS), Blast was paroled in 2018.

One year after being paroled, Blast appeared as a member of the Sylvia Rivera Law Project’s prisoner advisory committee, and was interviewed in a video with three other trans-identified males. The video was posted to the SRLP’s Facebook.

“I came from being in a jail cell to learning about SRLP and its mission, who Sylvia Rivera, as a person, actually was, and … about Marsha P. Johnson, and I was definitely hooked into this movement,” Blast said.

“We all have a voice. And we live in a time, today, where that voice is finally being heard. We haven’t reached that milestone yet. We are all screaming together, and now they are finally listening,” Blast says, then beginning to promote the SRLP as a center which can help transgender people change their names and legal identity, “Whenever I find a transgender person, I ask them: Do you know about the Sylvia Rivera Law Project?”

The most recent update on Blast’s file with DOCCS shows that he was discharged from parole supervision on July 30, 2022, quietly marking the completion of his sentence for the murder of Ebony Nicole Williams.

UPDATE 11/30/22: A previous version of this article incorrectly suggested Williams was murdered in 1996. Williams was murdered in 1993, and Blast was convicted in 1996. The wording in this article has been adjusted to clarify.

“No estáis sonriendo ahora.

“Her Penis”: Trans Performer Strips Naked While Performing Misogynistic Song on Live Television

A trans comedian is receiving praise from mainstream media, but backlash from women, after a musical performance on UK comedy show Friday Night Live.

During the live program, trans-identified male comedian Jordan Gray ripped off his clothing to expose his entire naked body, and began to play his keyboard with his penis. This was during Gray’s rendition of his song “Better Than You,” which featured misogynistic lyrics intended to mock females.

“I’m a perfect woman, my tits will never shrink. I’m guaranteed to squirt, and I do anal by default … I am the lizard king, and I can do anything that any other woman can’t … I used to be a man, now I’m better than you,” Gray sang to an audience of delighted onlookers.

The explicit performance took place during a special Friday Night Live revival event marking Channel 4’s 40th anniversary. The revival featured former Friday Night Live cast members Ben Elton, Enfield, Brand and Julian Clary as well as a number of new comedians, including Gray.

Mainstream media coverage of Gray’s performance has been overwhelmingly positive. PinkNews, a UK-based outlet, referred to Gray’s song as “rousing” and called the performance “iconic,” and characterized any opposition to the performer’s exposure of his genitals on television as “anti-trans.” The sentiment was shared by some LGBT activists on Twitter.

Irish Mirror chose to emphasize glowing comments which praised Gray as “amazing” and stated that “seeing a trans woman get naked on TV is exactly what we needed.”

Reporting on Gray’s exhibitionist stunt, The Daily Mail in particular prompted criticism for the use of the term “her penis” to refer to the incident.

Even some beloved British figures took to social media to heap praise upon Gray. Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs complimented Gray’s “magnificent boobs and equally magnificent member” and called for Gray to run for Prime Minister.

But while no mainstream British outlet has called into question any safeguarding concerns related to the program, many on social media have stated their shock and outrage at what they consider to be indecent exposure, a sexual offense, being normalized, celebrated, and highly publicized.

Speaking with Reduxx, UK-based journalist and women’s rights campaigner Jo Bartosch criticized the media outlets who chose to reference Gray’s genitals using feminine pronouns, and highlighted the significance of factually-based language.

“Whether it’s calling a man ‘Miss’ or using the oxymoronic phrase ‘her penis,’ these linguistic capitulations to men’s paraphilias are dangerous. It is a public sign of the power men like Gray enjoy. And it is terrifying, yet darkly comic, that respected journalists and broadcasters will now lie in this way, because to do otherwise is to risk breaching media guidelines which have been informed by trans lobby groups,” Bartosch said.

“The phrase ‘her penis’ is an insult to the profession, to audiences and to the truth,” she added.

Bartosch explained that she views pornography as an influential force in the concept of a “female penis,” noting that while it may seem bizarre to “the uninitiated,” there exists within the “male domain of pornography a logic to the idea of a ‘female penis.'”

She then cited as examples genres such as forced feminization, and sissification, which portray men as being transformed into women through processes that involve makeup, lingerie, sexual submissiveness, and humiliation.

“Whether it’s the rebranding of sexual entertainment as ‘children’s education’ or the use of language to reflect men’s fantasies; aggressively male behaviour which festers in online pornography has seeped over into the real world,” Bartosch stated.

“The excitement men feel is because they know that the social bounds that keep their base impulses in check are straining and being broken, and that it is happening in plain sight. Pornographic values have become so mainstream when men brazenly flash their fetishes they are celebrated for their bravery. One wonders which taboos will be the next to be broken?”

In the days following Channel 4’s broadcast, internet sleuths have brought to light how Gray boasted about being a representative for a charity that promotes gender identity ideology in schools. The charity, Educate and Celebrate, describes its programs as offering “the knowledge, skills and confidence to embed gender, gender identity and sexual orientation into the fabric of your organization”.

Since news of his involvement with the charity has been spread on social media, Educate and Celebrate quietly pulled a page from their site that listed Gray as a patron. “I go into schools to talk about gender as part of a campaign called Educate and Celebrate,” Gray told GuysLikeU.

“Toddlers kind of get it straightaway. I went into one school recently where there was a 7 year-old transgender girl. And her four year-old classmate, who was a boy, said: ‘Jessie’s a girl and she wants to be a girl. And I am a boy who wants to be a boy.'”

“Young minds are very accepting,” Gray added. “It’s teenagers who are harder to get through to. It’s good to educate these kids when they are young.”

A patron of Educate and Celebrate listed alongside Gray, Peter Tatchell, has previously made statements in support of pedophilia and questioning age of consent laws. Tatchell, a former leader of the Gay Liberation Front, authored an obituary in The Independent for Ian Dunn, founder of the former pedophile activist organization the Pedophile Information Exchange (PIE).

Tatchell also published an essay in an anthology released by former vice-chairman of PIE, Warren Middleton, wherein he argued that argued that “children have sexual desires at an early age” and should be “educated” so that they can decide when they want to have sex.

“While it may be impossible to condone pedophilia, it is time society acknowledged the truth that not all sex involving children is unwanted, abusive, and harmful,” Tatchell wrote in a letter to The Guardian in 1997.

The revelation that Jordan Gray worked alongside Peter Tatchell for a charity promoting the notion of a gender identity to young children mirrors a recent, widely-publicized scandal involving a pro-pedophilia campaigner’s ties to a children’s charity that promotes the medical “transition” of minors.

Earlier this month, Jacob Breslow, an Associate Professor at the London School of Economics, stepped down from his position as a trustee for UK-based trans activist organization Mermaids following revelations that he had ties to pro-pedophilia lobbyists.

Breslow had, on several occasions, made statements and published academic work that favorably portrayed pedophilia, and had once authored a blog that linked directly to child sexual abuse materials.

Inmate on Death Row Now Identifying as a Woman Ahead of Execution

An inmate incarcerated in Missouri for the brutal rape and murder of his ex-girlfriend appears to have transitioned while on death row for the horrific crime.

Scott McLaughlin, 49, was found guilty in the murder of Beverly Guenther in 2003. The victim was McLaughlin’s ex-girlfriend, a woman he had been on-again-off-again dating for approximately one year. According to court records, Guenther and McLaughlin met in 2002, and began living with each other shortly into the relationship.

But the cohabitation was marred by break-ups that were often so serious that Geunther sometimes had to obtain restraining orders to keep McLaughlin away from her.

In spring of 2003, Geunther and McLaughlin formally ended their relationship, but McLaughlin would continue to pursue the woman — frequently visiting her place of work and calling her.

On October 27, 2003, Guenther would be arrested after burglarizing McLaughlin’s home. He told arresting officers he was trying to reclaim possessions from when he lived with her, and was arraigned in November. Guenther sought a protective order at this time, but just two days later McLaughlin would murder her.

On the night of November 20, while the protective order was in effect, McLaughlin drove to Geunther’s workplace and waited for her in the parking lot of the office building. He ambushed her as she walked towards her truck, pulled her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her.

After violating the woman, McLaughlin stabbed her to death before shoving her corpse in his hatchback. He drove Guenther’s body to a nearby river, and disposed of it in the underbrush. McLaughlin was arrested the next day at the hospital while attempting to get some medication for his mental illness.

McLaughlin was ultimately found guilty of first-degree murder and forcible rape. A trial jury was unable to decide whether to impose a sentence of death or life in prison without the possibility of parole, and a judge made the final decision to issue the death penalty.

McLaughlin unsuccessfully appealed his sentence multiple times over the years. In 2008, he brought it before the Supreme Court of Missouri, arguing a technical error in the rape conviction. The Court denied his appeal, and further rejected any re-hearings.

McLaughlin then took his case to a Circuit Court seeking post-conviction relief, which he was also denied. Finally, McLaughlin filed a federal petition for a writ of habeas corpus, believing his incarceration was unconstitutional.

In 2016, McLaughlin was granted a stay of execution, but it was re-instated by a Federal Appeals Court in 2021.

On September 29, after years of delays, the state of Missouri announced a date of January 3, 2023, had been set for McLaughlin’s execution.

McLaughlin is currently incarcerated in the Potosi Correctional Center, a male prison in Mineral Point, Missouri for maximum-security and high-risk inmates. Records from the Missouri Department of Corrections show McLaughlin has apparently begun identifying as a “woman,” with his most recent mugshot capturing him donning long hair, makeup, and nail polish.

The photo, updated in December of 2021, is strikingly different from a previous record from just a few years prior when McLaughlin was seen with a decidedly more “masculine” appearance.

Despite the dramatic change, McLaughlin is still recorded in the Missouri Department of Corrections system as a “male” and under his birth name. The state does not have an explicit gender self-identification policy.

McLaughlin is one of two known trans-identified male inmates incarcerated for extremely violent crimes in the state of Missouri. Just two hours away in Charleston, Patricia Elaine Trimble is housed at the Southeast Correctional Center.

Born Patrick, Trimble was convicted in 1978 of the brutal rape of two 9-year-old girls in the city of St. Charles, Missouri. While in prison awaiting the final verdict on his case, Trimble would commit another heinous crime, making what the court would describe as a “slave” out of his developmentally disabled cellmate before murdering him.

According to a court document, Trimble “… forced the victim to have both oral and anal intercourse with him, compelled him to wear a ‘bra’ around the jail for the entertainment of the other inmates, and forced him at one point to display to the other inmates a rag that had been stuffed into his anus.” Trimble prostituted Everett to other inmates, and even offered to sell him to a member of the prison staff for a carton of cigarettes. Trimble also tortured Everett, making deep gashes in his flesh using burnt shampoo bottles.

Trimble was initially sentenced to death for his crimes, but the decision would later be commuted to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for 50 years.
