Cardiff U Defended Violent Threats, Vandalism by Trans Activists as “Free Speech”

Cardiff University defended student trans activists who directed threatening and violent messages to academics who criticized a Stonewall scheme as expressions of “free speech,” even after one victim targeted had their car window smashed.

According to a letter written to the Welsh Minister of Education by Toby Young, General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, the University defended student trans activists who staged an ongoing campaign of harassment and intimidation against university staff and openly advocated physical violence against them.

The organized tactics began on June 21, 2021, just days after 15 academics signed an open letter published calling on the university to review its participation in a Stonewall Diversity Champions scheme and expressing concerns that policies advocated by the scheme do not “respect for the rights of all staff and students, including women.”

Activists quickly began to distribute leaflets featuring an image of a woman aiming a gun alongside a list of names and photos of certain academics, with the text “ACT NOW” and “Destroy the TERF menace.”

The document labeled the signatories “transphobic pricks” and warned them of “repercussions,” strongly implying they would be victims of violence if they continued to vocalize criticisms of Stonewall. The leaflet was reported to police by two signatories, one of whom was promptly disinvited from an academic event.

The following day, Cardiff University released a letter of support for the trans activists rather than their staff. The statement asserted that the university’s “commitment” to the students involved in the LGBTQ community was “longstanding and non-negotiable,” and expressed concern that the students who disseminated the threatening leaflets should be made to feel “unsafe.”

On June 24, it was revealed by an anonymous whistleblower that violent rhetoric against the group of academics was posted to the Cardiff University LGBT+ Society’s official Facebook group. One member threatened to “[weaken a signatory’s] knees manually with a 2×4” while another detailed the “urge to throat punch people when they’re being racist / transphobic / homophobic.”

Other aggressive comments included suggesting a “petition to make punching transphobes not only legal but rewarded,” while another student said, “either you’re a transphobic a**hole or you’re not.”

On September 16, the activist group which published the leaflet, ACT Now, published a statement boasting of how they “[provide] a physical reminder” that the academics’ “bigotry would not go unopposed.”

In response, the trans activist organization said it would “[embrace] a diversity of tactics, including doxxing fascists,” and would promote an “offensive” in order “to destroy the TERF menace and secure Queer Liberation.”

Despite anonymous whistleblowers providing the identities of those responsible for the calls to violence – including names and photographs – university administrators refused to take action.

On October 11, one of the signatories found that their car window had been smashed, but the University continued to dismiss the incidents. Two weeks later, Cardiff administrators would state in an email that no investigation would be launched into the incidents, and that it was “satisfied” that it had done enough by simply going to police about the leaflets.

The Vice-Chancellor also sent an email to staff announcing their continued partnership with Stonewall’s Diversity Champions scheme.

Threats against the academics continued throughout November as stickers with imagery similar to that seen in June appeared on campus reading: “Not gay as in happy, but queer as in f*ck you,” with a drawing of a woman holding a gun. The incident was again reported to police, who declined to investigate.

According to the letter detailing these incidents published by the Free Speech Union, those academics singled out for harassment have suffered “acute physical fear, extreme anxiety and illnesses such as depression” as a result or their experiences. Members of the FSU and their colleagues have proposed taking legal action against Cardiff University.

Christian Wilton-King, a former lecturer who lives in Cardiff and knows some of the academics involved, told The Times, “There is an army of people, who may include students, whose actions are intimidating lecturers who question them, and that has serious implications for free speech on campuses across the country.”

FIFA Official Criminally Charged After Reporting Sexual Assault to Qatari Police

Netizens have called for a boycott of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after a female official was forced to flee the nation in order to avoid criminal penalties for reporting a sexual assault to police.

Paola Schietekat, 28 from Mexico, escaped Qatar after being charged for ‘extramarital sex’ when she reported being raped in her home. The charge carries a penalty of seven years in prison and can include 100 lashes.

The assault took place in June of 2021 while Scheitekat was working in Qatar in preparation for the 2022 World Cup. She reported to Qatari authorities that she had been raped by an acquaintance who broke into her living quarters.

According to Schietekat, she kept a “cool head” after the rape and documented the scene of her ordeal by taking photos.

Schietekat then spent the rest of the night in a hotel out of fear that her attacker might return. The next morning, she obtained a medical report verifying that she had been raped. She then went to the police station to file a report.

Hours later, she received a call urgently demanding that she visit the police station, where she was accused of having an affair and charged her with ‘extramarital sex,” which is a crime in the Gulf state.

Schietekat says she was interrogated in Arabic for three hours and “at a certain point they demanded a virginity test.” While at the police station, she was confronted by her rapist, who defended himself by claiming she was his girlfriend.

After the case had been referred to criminal court, Schietekat’s assailant was acquitted, even despite the evidence — which included her photos and medical report. According to authorities, “there were no cameras pointing directly at the door of the apartment, so there was no way to verify that the assault happened.”

Schietekat was told by lawyers that she could avoid conviction by marrying her rapist. She instead decided to flee the country, giving up what she called her “dream job.”

The charges against her are still pending and the court is prepared to sentence Schietekat in absentia on March 6.

In her recent op-ed written for Julio Astillero, Schietekat wrote slammed the way democracies have turned a blind eye to the human rights violations in Qatar ahead of the World Cup.

“The international community has excused and even defended archaic monarchies that maintain laws that promote modern slavery, such as the [Gulf] states,” she wrote, continuing, “The World Cup is about to be held in the same country where a woman cannot obtain custody of her children upon divorce.”

Qatar enforces a strict male guardianship system that denies women the right to travel, work, marry, or make decisions about their children without male approval.

Women interviewed for a report published by Human Rights Watch told of how the curtailing of their basic freedoms contributed to depression, self-harm, and suicidality.

Trans Child Sex Offender Boasted About Lenient Sentence

A 26-year old man convicted of sexually assaulting a child and currently serving his sentence in a youth treatment facility boasted about the lenient sentence offered to him by Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, according to newly leaked audio from the offender.

James Tubbs, who now goes by the name Hannah Tubbs, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in 2014. At the time, he was two-weeks shy of his 18th birthday.

In a recent decision that sparked massive backlash, L.A. County prosecutors said Tubbs would not have to register as a sex offender after completing his two-year sentence, which would be served in a juvenile treatment center where he would be housed with female youth.

Today, Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin released exclusive audio from an in-custody phone call between Tubbs and his father in which he was boasting about the lenient sentence he had been offered. The recording appears to be from just before the final decisions in the case were made.

“Don’t worry about it. It’s a strike, but they’re gonna plead, I’m [going to] plead out to them and then plead guilty. They’re going to stick me on probation. And it’s going to be dropped. It’s going to be done, done. I won’t have to register,” Tubbs says in one recording, to which his father responded with confusion, seemingly not understanding how his son’s crime would result in no severe penalty.

“For offender… you won’t have to register?” Tubbs’ father asks, to which Tubbs responds, “I won’t have to do none of that!”

Tubbs is heard excitedly exclaiming “Nothing!” when his father asks what the consequences of his actions will be. He goes on to state that “if there is a next time” he commits a crime, he will simply flee the country.

Tubbs was two weeks shy of his 18th birthday when he committed the crime.

He followed a 10-year-old girl into the bathroom of a Denny’s in Palmdale, California where he grabbed her by the throat and forced his hand down her pants. He only stopped his assault when someone entered the restroom, and then ran away before he could be detained.

A judge in Antelope Valley, California, ruled that Tubbs would be sent to a juvenile detention facility, where he would be kept with underage female delinquents.

L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón had ruled in early January that he would not take Tubbs’ case out of juvenile court, stating that he would not press for jail time in an adult facility, as the crime was committed while Tubbs was 17-years-old.

During the January 27 hearing, Judge Mario Barrera stated repeatedly that he was limited to sentencing Tubbs to two years because the District Attorney’s Office did not file a request to transfer the case to adult court.

Tubbs’ victim, who is now 18, no longer lives in California. In a statement she provided to the court, the young woman said she continues to live in fear.

“I just wanted to forget I’m part of any of this,” said the victim in her statement.

“And I’m constantly reminded of my past because of this case. I live in fear most of the time, and although it’s something that I tried to tell myself isn’t my fault, I could never truly believe it. I feel that I’m to blame somehow, when I know deep down that isn’t the case.” She said, ending: “I chose not to come into court because I couldn’t stand the thought of having to see my attackers’ face again. And I hope, after all of this comes to an end my attacker gets the punishment he deserves for attacking a child with no problem and I can finally get on with my life.”

OPINION: The Monsters in the Library, A Rant on Priorities

Like many, I was both entertained and somewhat confused by the New York Times‘ decision to run advertisements in the D.C. Metro featuring an individual named Lianna “imagining Harry Potter without its creator.”

While it drew ample criticism for its condescending absurdity, Lianna is hardly the first slack-jawed ghoul to be so emotionally dependent on a children’s fantasy franchise that she is desperate to rebel against JK Rowling.

There have been countless think-pieces dedicated to Harry Potter “moving on” from JK Rowling. A Vox writer suggested that fans simply steal the intellectual property rights to the series and reimagine it as a shitty queer fanfiction. One site wrote a whole guide on how to be a Harry Potter fan without supporting JK Rowling.

And, of course, all of this is because Rowling dared to suggest women don’t have penises. L’horreur!
While ruminating over the situation, I was reminded of a bit from Dave Chappelle’s recent Netflix special ‘The Closer.’ Chappelle noted that rapper DaBaby was named, shamed, and canceled after making an edgy “joke” about HIV/AIDS at one of his concerts, but hadn’t faced nearly the same amount of scrutiny after literally murdering someone.

“A lot of the LGBTQ community doesn’t know about DaBaby’s history. He once shot a n*gga and killed him in Walmart. Oh this is true, Google it. Nothing bad happened to his career. Do you see where I’m going with this? In our country, you can shoot and kill a n*gga, but you better not hurt a gay person’s feelings.”

Chappelle’s comment is specifically one of reflection on where this new system of magical thinking places its priorities.

Murder? Meh.

A homophobic remark? Well now, that’s a step too far.

The JK Rowling saga exemplifies this total incoherence on a meta level.

Rowling’s cultural excommunication has been levied upon her for not affirming specific mantras rooted in theories which sought to deconstruct the “normative.” These theories themselves were largely formulated by a cast of unsavoury characters who have done far worse than simply propose the revolutionary notion that women don’t have penises.

“Gender,” as we currently understand it, was popularized by Dr. John Money, an unrepentant pedophile apologist. Money’s sympathetic stance on pedophilia was so well-documented that his quotes are prominently featured on the North American Man-Boy Love Association’s website to this very day. Money is also infamous for the sadistic sexual experiments he conducted on the young twin Reimer brothers, which included forcing them to simulate sex with each other — often in front of audiences.

“Cis,” as we currently understand it, was coined by German sexologist Volkmar Sigusch, who similarly sympathized with pedophiles and claimed there was “nothing wrong” with pedophilia.

Likewise, some of the most important modern queer theory tenets, including sexuality being “fluid” and existing on a “continuum,” were cemented in the work of Michel Foucault. Foucault didn’t just advocate for the elimination of age-of-consent laws, it’s also been written that he raped prepubescent children in Tunisia.

Fast forward in time a bit, and queer theory legend Judith Butler would be given a platform to throw JK Rowling under the bus on the transgender issue while never having lost a platform herself despite her disturbing opinions on incest, pedophilia, or sexual consent.

Simply put, the existence of Rowling’s “transphobia” as a concept in and of itself relies explicitly on a foundation of theory populated by degenerates.

Beyond gender-related gobbledygook specifically, the liberal academic culture which the identity-as-sacrosanct left relies upon for intellectual legitimacy is completely saturated with very bad people who have done very bad things.

Louis Althusser murdered his wife.

Jean-Paul Sartre’s newspaper Libération was among the first to frame pedophiles as a persecuted sexual minority, and even once published child sexual abuse art on the front page.

Jaques Derrida bullied a University into dropping a sexual harassment investigation into one of his friends.

And lest we forget that a veritable library’s worth of French intellectuals signed a petition to abolish the age of consent and fully legalize adult-child sexual relations in 1977.

The list is endless.

Without fail, nearly every thinker that has churned out walls of convoluted text deconstructing or intersectional-izing elements of sex, gender, and/or the body has a cemetery’s worth of skeletons in their closet. Without fail, all of these names have contributed significantly to manufacturing the “woke” pronoun-pin soldiers we are socially policed by today. And without fail, none of them have ever been scrutinized as harshly as many of those who simply pushed back against the ideological systems they helped develop.

There have been and will be no libraries or bookstores refusing to stock Althusser or Foucault like they have with Rowling, and I have yet to see any University host an event on the pedophilia of the very intellectuals they teach entire courses on like some campuses have done with Rowling and her unforgivable ‘transphobia.’

Again, priorities.

But more than that… selective outrage. Inconsistent application. Complete and total cognitive dissonance.

Ultimately, the translation seems to be that lock-step compliance with popular dogma is more important to green-lighting a person’s character than even whether they literally supported the rape of children.
Now, I know… often when presenting these grim facts about popular academics, I am met with some version of “the death of the author,” or a demand to separate the work from the writer.

But surely the sexual proclivities of intellectuals whose theories were dedicated to sexuality have more weight on the intention of their work than the socio-political opinions of a woman who wrote a book about wizards.

While Lianna and her ilk are trying to “imagine” Harry Potter without Rowling, they certainly aren’t rushing to “imagine” their entire worldview without the deviants who helped carve it out, nor are they applying their imagination skills to wondering why so many of the intellectuals who formulated the theories they rely on were truly abhorrent human beings.

As for me, I will simply “imagine” a world without people like Lianna.

Dutch Sociologist Promoted Pedophilia, Bestiality Liberation

A widely-cited academic and former professor at the University of Amsterdam has written extensively in support of pedophilia, even once interviewing with a pro-pedophile rights organization during which he called children “sexy.”

Gert Hekma, a Dutch sociologist and former professor in the fields of gender studies and sexuality, has a history of framing paraphilias such as pedophilia and bestiality as “sexual variations” rather than as forms of abuse.

Hekma has authored over 300 academic articles, largely in the fields of sexology and sociology. Among his publications are “Sexual Expression Best guarantee Against Exploitation: Children and Sexuality,” “Queering de Sade,” and “Is Gay Sex OK for Boys?

From 1984 until 2017, Hekma was an assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam, where he lectured students on the works of the Marquis de Sade, from whom the eponymic term “sadism” was derived.

Sade, states Hekma, was “one of the first and most important authors to write apologies for pédérastie.” Hekma incorporated the Marquis’ writings in his classroom in order to assert that “striving to remove violence from society” is not a reasonable political aim.

In 2007, Hekma was sharply criticized after supporting the idea of including a gay party boat for adolescents under the age of 16 at Amsterdam Pride, and told de Volksrant that a prominent gay organization subsequently “cut off all contact” with him. The University of Amsterdam continued to support Hekma during this backlash.

In 2014, Hekma co-created a petition addressed to the Supreme Court of the Netherlands demanding the government refrain from banning pro-pedophilia association Vereniging MARTIJN. Founded in 1982 and dissolved by the Supreme Court in 2014, MARTIJN claimed to fight for “the social and societal acceptance of child-adult relationships.”

The organization also created child sexual exploitation materials in the form of a subscription-based publication titled Ok Magazine which ran for three decades. The magazine was well-known amongst law enforcement, with a Dutch police once stating that if a suspect had a copy of OK Magazine, it usually indicated to police that they also likely possessed hardcore child sexual exploitation material.

In 2004, Hekma interviewed with MARTIJN and extensively detailed his own childhood sexual fantasies. He said that anyone who didn’t sexually fantasize about children below the age of 16 was “crazy,” going on to assert: “Most people know very well what a beautiful boy or a beautiful girl is, that they are sexy, that they have nice little blow mouths. If you do not see this, then you are blind.” In the same interview, which was also published in OK Magazine, Hekma would agree with the interviewer that sometimes children needed to be “forced” or “pressured” into sex.

Hekma also details his views advocating for social acceptance of abusive sexual practices in a chapter he authored in the Bloomsbury publication, A Cultural History of Sexuality in the Modern Age:

“My own view on these sexual variations is straightforward. No sexual relation is morally wrong as long as it is not abusive, which means that it does not go against the wishes of the partner. Regarding pedophilia this raises the question of the age at which youngsters can give consent and, regarding bestiality, whether or not animals can do so.

On the first point it is essential that young people learn at an early age what it means to be sexual citizens in order to prepare them for their sexual life so that they can engage with these pleasurable exploits consciously. There is no specific age at which this happens but it is usually experienced sometime at the beginning of puberty. In cases of bestiality, abuse should be forbidden and non-abusive forms allowed.”

Hekma also authored a glowing obituary for pro-pedophilia campaigner Frits Bernard, who is featured positively on the website of the North American Man / Boy Love Assocation (NAMBLA), as well as on the pedophilia site BoyWiki.

Bernard was a psychologist, sexologist and pedophile activist in the Netherlands, and a leading member and author for the Dutch Society for Sexual Reform (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Seksuele Hervorming / NVSH). According to internet archives, the site advocated for the normalization of all forms of sexuality, including pedophilia.

Bernard founded Enclave Kring (Enclave Circle) in the 1950s, making him the founder of the first modern public pedophile movement. In 1972, Bernard published Sex met Kinderen (Sex with Children) for the NVSH. In 1979, he founded the Bernard Institute for the study of sexuality and later served at the editorial board of Paidika: The Journal of Paedophilia. Hekma’s own tribute to Bernard states that he was “devoted to pedophile emancipation”.

“When the tide turned and the moral panic on pedophilia began in the early 1980s, he became more prudent and discrete and hoped for better times,” wrote Hekma. “Bernard was a gentleman… Up until his final days he worked on articles and gave interviews in support of boy love, while the situation only worsened for pedophiles.”

Hekma is listed as an editor of Gay News, a publication based in Holland, where another obituary to Bernard dated 2006 can be found, attributed only to the editorial staff. “Frits Bernard was one of the well-known pioneers of the boy love emancipation movement in the Netherlands,” the article reads. “Initially he waged this struggle within the Dutch gay emancipation organization COC, but he was sidelined in the early 1960s.”

In Hekma’s 2013 article titled “Children, Sex, and Self-determination: Talking About Pedophilia,” published in the journal Tijdschrift Sociologie, Hekma again defends the pro-pedophilia lobbying of Frits Bernard, stating:

“Bernard had placed an appeal in the NVSH monthly magazine Sextant to hear stories from alleged victims. They were mostly boys who had had sex with an older man and thoroughly enjoyed the relationship… Sometimes they had taken the initiative themselves.”

Hekma goes on to observe how the political movement to normalize pedophilia found common cause among those with other paraphilias, but was ultimately halted from altering age of consent laws by feminist mobilizing. Writing for the anthology Histories of Sexology: Between Science and Politics, Hekma says:

“In the Netherlands, the Dutch Movement for Sexual Reform (NVSH) became in the seventies a cover for minority groups, the main ones in the NVSH being transsexuals and transvestites, sadomasochists, exhibitionists and pedophiles. The first group soon had their first successes with the acceptance of transsexual operations and the legalization of a gender identity change…

The final group of pedophiles made some progress in the 1970s and 1980s, after which they became a largely demonized group… Police-officers, lawyers, and psychiatrists made the argument that pedosex was less an evil than were the negative reactions to sex with ‘minors’ by family, police, and courts that traumatized the kids. These arguments found response among other mental health and legal officials, sexual activists and politicians who supported the idea of bringing down the age of consent to 12 years but this failed first due to a growing feminist concern: the sex law committee rejected it and—uncommon for the period—a majority of its members were feminists.”

In 2001, Hekma co-founded the George Mosse Fund of the University of Amsterdam, an organization that specialized in organizing and hosting lectures on queer theory from 2002 – 2019. One of the organization’s final lectures in 2019, “Queering the Sex Worker Movement”, called for the continued full decriminalization and normalization of sex trafficking.

The U.S. State Department has declared that the Netherlands is a known source, destination and transit country for children subjected to trafficking for sexual purposes. Nearly half of identified female trafficking victims in the Dutch sex industry in 2017 were girls between the ages of 12 and 17, according to the National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings and Sexual Violence against Children.

Currently, the Netherlands hosts roughly 71% of the child sexual abuse content found by the Internet Watch Foundation in a 2019 annual report. This equates to 93,962 URLs and represents a tremendous increase from 2018 when the Netherlands was found to be hosting 47% of all known child sexual abuse material.

Trans Writer Compares Sports Bills to WW2 Internment Camps

On February 19, Forbes quietly published an article by a transgender writer comparing denying males the ability to participate on women’s sports teams to the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War Two.

Titled “Why Trans People Fear a Repeat of This Atrocity from 80 Years Ago,” the article purports to draw a direct comparison between the sporting bills currently rolling through various US states targeting play equity to the internment camps built for Japanese-Americans in 1942, incarcerating them on their own home soil because of their race.

Written by Dawn Ennis, a trans-identified male who has reportedly switched gender three times, the article tries to argue that the sports bills, as well as the high rates of mental illness amongst transgender youth, recall the horrors of the racist camps.

Ennis writes, “…the inability to use the bathroom that matches one’s authentic identity, the ban on competing as your true self and not being able to give everything you have to win … These are not that dissimilar to the oppression of 80 years ago when American citizens were rounded-up and moved far from home because of who they were.”

He also attempts to assert that the “hateful headlines” directed at UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas are also an example of trans oppression apparently akin to that of the Japanese-Americans during WW2.

Despite invoking the atrocity, Ennis does not seem to establish any relation between the experiences of Japanese-Americans in the 1940s to anything presently happening to transgender people in the United States today.

A crowded temporary “war relocation camp” in Santa Anita, California.

The “war relocation camps” were established by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1942 and sustained until 1945. The laws targeted American-born people of Japanese heritage under the claim of trying to prevent “espionage” on American soil after Pearl Harbor.

In total, 120,000 Americans who were at least 1/16th Japanese were relocated form their homes into designated areas. Some were made to live in livestock barns and in places not fit for human habitation. In total, over 1,800 people died in the camps, largely as a result of tuberculosis, substandard sanitation, and starvation.

The US Government formally apologized to Japanese-American survivors of the camps for their trauma in 1988.

The details on these atrocities are lost as Ennis wraps the piece with a lengthy pitch inundating readers with statistics on trans youth and eating disorders, both of which he does not appear to be able to connect to the internment camps. He ends the article with the well-known George Santayana quote: “We are condemned to repeat history if we do not learn from it.”

Ennis, a biological male, first declared his transgender identity in 2013 while working as a producer at ABC. He divorced his wife of 17 years, began wearing “little black dresses” and wig to his office, and demanded co-workers refer to him by feminine pronouns. Months later in August, he would say that a “two day bout” of amnesia caused him to realise he was not transgender, and was comfortable being a male.

“I am writing to let you know I’m changing my name… to Don Ennis. That will be my name again, now and forever. And it appears I’m not transgender after all,” he wrote to his colleagues in 2013 explaining his detransition.

In May of 2014, Ennis returned to work dressed as a woman and claiming to be transgender, and has apparently been so ever since. He was fired from ABC shortly after his second gender change, but has been active with multiple other publications since and currently teaches journalism, public relations and advertising at the University of Hartford.

Trans Sex Offender Calls Registry “Cruel and Unusual Punishment”

A convicted male sex abuser who now identifies as a woman has filed a lawsuit claiming that being listed on the Wisconsin state sex offender registry is a form of cruel and unusual punishment that violates his Eighth Amendment rights and prohibits him from exercising his “right to self-expression as being a female.”

The man, identified only as “Ella” in court documents, was adjudicated delinquent in Shawano County after he pinned down a half-blind autistic boy and sexually assaulted him in 2016. “Ella” did not identify as transgender at the time of the incident, and only began using a female name after having spent time in a juvenile detention center in Irma, Wisconsin.

According to court records, the Shawano Police department received a complaint from a 15-year-old boy with disabilities on May 10, 2016.

The boy, who is referred to as “Alan,” told officers that “Ella” had held him down and forcibly performed oral sex on him. Department of Corrections records indicate “Ella” was 6-foot-5 and weighed 345 pounds at the time; the boy was 5-foot-10 and weighed 110 pounds.

After a police investigation, the State filed a delinquency petition against “Ella”, alleging one count of sexual assault of a child under sixteen years of age, and one count of disorderly conduct. At the time of conviction, “Ella’s” attorney moved to stay an order requiring he be listed on the sex offender registry, which was denied as he was considered a “high risk” to re-offend. “Ella” was sent to serve six to ten months at Lincoln Hills School, a juvenile detention facility.

“Ella” subsequently filed a motion to change facilities, claiming that Lincoln Hills was unsafe for him and stating that another youth assaulted him. According to records, Lincoln Hills staff told the court that, “Ella was partly to blame for that incident because [he] told other youths they were cute,” and, “a room search revealed that Ella had written a number of letters inappropriately referencing teachers.”

Following a second complaint regarding “Ella’s” safety, he was transferred to Mendota Juvenile Treatment Center, a facility designed to offer “comprehensive mental health services to teen boys whose highly disruptive behavior and failure to respond to standard treatment has warranted their transfer.” Court records state the reason for this transfer was “in part because [he] was transitioning as a transgender youth from a male to a female identity.”

The Wisconsin Supreme Court debated the case on Thursday, February 17, weighing whether self-declared gender identity should take precedence over transparency and public safety in regards to sex offenders.

A January 2021 Wisconsin State Court of Appeals decision, which had denied his request for a name change and removal from the sex offender registry, outlined “Ella’s” arguments as follows:

“Ella contends the circuit court erroneously exercised its discretion by denying the stay. In addition, Ella contends that, as applied to her, requiring her to register as a sex offender violates her First Amendment rights because the statute’s prohibition against legally changing her name restricts her right to self-expression as being a female. She further contends that because the prohibition is a content based restriction, we must apply strict scrutiny. By applying strict scrutiny, Ella asserts that her right to self-expression outweighs any government interest in limiting her use of another legal name. Finally, Ella contends that requiring her to register as a sex offender constitutes cruel and unusual punishment, thereby violating her Eighth Amendment rights.”

In addition, “Ella’s” attorney argued that the law forces him to out himself as a male anytime he is required to present his legal name.

According to Fox 11 News, reporting on the Supreme Court hearing, “The state noted the sex offender registry does not prohibit Ella from using an alias of her choosing to conform with her gender identity. But the law freezes into place the name from the time of the offense as a tool for the public’s protection, the state argued.”

The prior ruling denying his appeal made by the state of Wisconsin in January 2021 stated that: “Ella’s argument regarding the Eighth Amendment fails because our Supreme Court has held that Wisconsin’s sex offender registration requirement does not constitute punishment at all. Wisconsin’s registration statute does not evince the intent to punish sex offenders, but rather it reflects the intent to protect the public and assist law enforcement.”

A decision on the case has not yet been reached and isn’t expected for another several months.

Trans-Identified Child Sex Offender Pleads Guilty After Public Masturbation Spree

A transgender male who has previous convictions for sexually assaulting a pre-teen girl has pleaded guilty to multiple charges stemming from a public masturbation spree he committed.

Andrew McNab, a biological male who identifies as a woman, was charged last year after been caught masturbating in multiple places around his community, including in a window in full view of children who witnessed the act. Just prior, McNab had also been caught using a sex toy on himself in an alley while donning a wig and skirt.

The offences, committed in the Teesside area of Northern England, were initially committed in August of 2021, but McNab was charged in November.

At court, the prosecutor reviewed some witness statements on the incidents from that day. One couple witnessed McNab “moving forwards and backwards against a wheelie bin” while using a sex toy on himself.

Another witness described a separate incident seeing a him standing in the front yard area of a house “leaning over the garden gate, thrusting [his] hips forwards and backwards looking at [the witness] as if he wanted them to notice him.”

On the same day, yet another witness was driving by McNab’s home with her young granddaughters in their car. As they passed the residence, one of the girls took notice of McNab, who was standing in the window, thrusting his hips and flashing his penis.

According to the Daily Record, McNab has 17 prior convictions for 22 offences and was still under a suspended sentence order at the time of 2021 incidents. He is originally from Glasgow, Scotland.

Previously convicted as a male, McNab had been placed on the sex offender registry and made subject to notification requirements in 2011 after sexually assaulting a pre-teen girl. He has apparently breached his sentencing conditions more than 10 times since they were applied.

McNab began identifying as a woman shortly after the sexual assault and, despite one condition of his sentence requiring him to notify police of any changes in identity, he downloaded social media apps using the name “Chloe Thompson” without first informing law enforcement. He was charged with the breach in May of 2021, and given a suspended sentence.

On February 15, McNab pleaded guilty the charges stemming from the August public masturbation incidents, including indecent exposure and outraging public decency. His sentencing is scheduled for March 15.

Media coverage of the August incidents uniformly refer to McNab as a woman and use ‘she/her’ pronouns for him, even while discussing his male genitalia.

UPDATE 2/17: Twitter user Emily Wilding Davison has come forward with screenshots of a profile belonging to McNab from dating app Badoo. Emily notes that she found McNab on the app in June of 2021, and he was advertising himself as a “lesbian” woman with children.

The screenshots have been censored for vulgarity.

Academics Call on Media to “Destigmatize” Pedophilia Coverage

A 2021 research paper from German academics called upon journalists to work towards “destigmatizing” pedophilia in their coverage of child sex abusers, which they declared a “minority” population.

In January of last year, four researchers from two German Universities published a paper in the American Psychological Association’s peer-reviewed Journal of Stigma and Health. The paper, titled Journalism and Pedophilia: Background on the Media Coverage of a Stigmatized Minority, argued that journalists covering child sexual abuse “overestimated the risk [of] minor-attracted persons” harming children.

The paper was based around a small study wherein researchers interviewed 11 journalists from German-language media and attempted to discern their opinions on pedophilia, and whether they were willing to strive towards “ethically sensitive” reporting on the subject. Those they surveyed were largely open to providing more sympathetic coverage, which the researchers stated “could be a first step toward destigmatizing pedophilia.”

The researchers write that “society can and should create a social environment in which minor-attracted persons can accept their sexual interest without fear of disadvantages.” They also suggest that media outlets could be provided guidelines with “facts” on pedophilia, including how it is an immutable sexual preference — one they appear to describe as similar to homo- and heterosexuality.

Throughout the paper, the researchers refer to pedophilia as a “sexual preference” and call pedophiles “minor-attracted people” in a stated attempt to avoid “negative [and] punitive attitudes.” They reference Dr. Fred Berlin in their choice of language, a controversial psychiatrist who was mentored by John Money.

Berlin is infamously known for protesting against a law that required mental health professionals to alert police when they were aware a client was actively sexually abusing a child. Berlin managed to gain an exemption to that mandatory reporting law for his clients for a period of time, something which sparked outrage amongst child safeguarding groups.

Berlin’s stealth in-patient sex offender clinic at Johns Hopkins, which shared a floor with a general mental health unit, once led to a teenage girl being raped in her hospital room by one of Berlin’s patients while she was being treated for depression. Berlin also worked with convicted child rapist Michael Melsheimer to create an advocacy organization that Melsheimer explicitly stated was intended to normalize pedophilia.

Allyn Walker, a now-disgraced ex-instructor at Old Dominion University, was also cited extensively in the paper. Walker came under fire last year after participating in an interview with Prostasia, a charity that purports to be for child safeguarding advocacy but primarily dedicates effort to defending pedophiles. Walker was ultimately forced to resign from her position at ODU after prolonged public backlash.

Journalism and Pedophilia also attempts to assure readers there is a clear differentiation “between a sexual preference for children and sexual abuse of children,” but does not indicate precisely what the researcher’s working definition of “non-offending” is.

In the case of Walker and Berlin, pedophiles viewing child sexual exploitation material without directly abusing a child physically are considered “non-offending.” Their views are a sample of a growing body of academic literature which insists pedophiles must be given access to “fantasy outlets” for their desires, despite research showing such exposure often leads to pedophiles seeking out actual children to abuse.

This is just latest in what appears to be a marked increase in openly sympathetic views towards pedophiles at the academic level, with multiple incidents being reported over the past year alone.

On February 5, State University of New York Professor Stephen Kershnar was placed on off-campus duties after clips from a podcast he’d done resurfaced showing him actively defending adult sexual contact with children, including those as young as 12 months old.

Even more recently, an academic critical of pro-pedophilia sympathies within Universities had his research scrubbed from The British Journal of Sociology and History just 24 hours after it was first published due to a complaint from Prostasia.

Dr. Alaric Naudé of Suwon University in South Korea told Reduxx that pushes for “destigmatization” with the alleged intention of “preventing offending” were dangerous to children and unsupported by research.

He also noted that claims about “minor attraction” being an innate sexuality, like those advanced in Journalism and Pedophilia “actually [make] it more difficult for pedophiles to direct their desires away from children.”

Male Student Filmed Women in “All Gender” Washroom

A student at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan (UBCO) campus has admitted to secretly recording as many as 7 women while they used an “all gender” washroom on campus.

Sari Siyam, 22, pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism in B.C. Supreme Court in Kelowna, B.C., last Friday. In the courtroom, Siyam, a fourth-year engineering student, read aloud an apology to one of the victims. The court also heard that Siyam told police he’d filmed another “five or six” students, who are still unaware of the crime against them.

Allegations brought against him by an anonymous woman had previously been dismissed by authorities. The identity of the first victim to come forward has been protected, though in an original report by the CBC, she is referred to by the pseudonym “Taylor.”

According to the CBC’s investigation, Taylor discovered Siyam recording her in the gender-neutral washroom in the Commons building in March of 2020 by pointing his iPhone under the stall divider.

Taylor filed a report with the RCMP and said that the officer in charge of her case, Const. Ryan Routley, initially supported her, but began to discourage her from pressing charges. Routley began to express concern over how such a conviction may negatively impact Siyam’s life, despite being aware of the “five or six” other victims.

The voyeurism charge to which Siyam pleaded guilty was only approved two weeks after CBC published an article in February 2021 detailing the woman’s experience. At that time, a second RCMP officer took over the case.

Siyam has been banned from UBCO’s campus but still takes classes remotely. His defense lawyer, Michael Oykhman, claimed he was struggling with his mental health at the time of the offense.

Siyam argued that he neither saved the video files nor uploaded them online.

He was sentenced to a conditional discharge with 12 months’ probation and has been ordered to obtain counseling and to send a written apology to Taylor. If he meets the terms of his sentence, he will not have a criminal record.
